I doubt it. Iran is not an Arab country or Sunni like most of the rest of the Middle East. I suspect the Arabs and Sunnis would be hesitant to get involved on behalf of Iran. That doesn't mean a full scale attack on Iran would be a good idea, although finding a way to sabotage any effort on their part to acquire nuclear weapons might be a good idea.

it's already on fire, but the real question is would a military strike serve any purpose....could we actually conquer a nation without 20 years occupation...and even after 20 years, would we still have to have a puppet regime and have the people against us...sound like the way Rome conquered and dominated the world...it can't last and will result in failure

No. Iraq already has. The danger is if Iran retaliated by attacking Saudi and Kuwaiti oil assets because they believed that we had their approval.

nobody knows the consequences for sure, some say WW3, Iran can take out most of the oil producing middle east, so an economic crash certainly.
