The troubles in Pakistan seem quite disturbing.

Yet apparently the fundamentalists are mostly active difficult to access border regions where they murder barbers and burn dvd shops among other things.

The government seems unable to reign them in, yet the fundamentalists seem unable to win the hearts and minds of the populace in the capital.

Afghanistan has been torn apart by fundamentalism for a long time now, but the Taliban remains incredibly unpopular.

Will this sort of problem ultimately pull down more Islamic countries?

Will fundamentalist ultimately cause so much angst among muslims, that many will lose their faith as a result?

The problem with Pakistan is that it is being ruled by an extremely unpopular government that stays in power primarily because of being propped up by the United States. This is no different than many of the repressive South American dictatorships that we propped up to fight the "evil communist revolutionaries."

Furthemore, both Afghanistan and Pakistan are "torn apart" because they really have no business being a "country" in the first place. These borders were arbitrarily established by colonial and post-colonial powers without respect to teh communities living in them. Most people in these countries now and have had for thousands of years vastly more loyalty for local tribal (etc) leaders than for any sort of "nation." The whole model of the nation-state is almost anathema to these people...and it is only outside arrogance that assumes that nations and countries are "better" than local tribal groups. Maybe it would be better for these people to be "torn apart."

You don't think they are already there?

Some countries are thriving well and as long as that amount of corruption doesn't bleed into their system, they'll do fine. But for countries like Iraq, Palestine and Afghanistan, if you don't call that chaos then I certainly don't know what the term means to you.

I don't think it will get much worse than it is now because Muslims worldwide are frustrated and are getting tired of the extremists' (not fundamentalists, different meanings) ways of doing things and taking advantage of the situations of others that I'm predicting there will soon enough be an upheaval of Muslims who are angry with this behavior and are set forth to make things right.

So called Muslim Countries are already in Chaos!!!

In todays world, Muslims can only exist under Kingdoms and Dictators, who again are acting under Remote Control.

If there is any attempt to disrupt the above system, their condition further detoriate and that is Chaos as you mentioned.

The Terrorists, Fundamentalists, Islamists, are the names given to the Disillusioned persons and they do not know what they are doing, but they think they are serving Islam and the Muslims at their best!!!!

May God Bless and Save the Humanity Amen.

The motives are very essential. The first query to invite is just too what quantity have those nations been dedicated to Islam? None or now not so much (the Saudi variation isn't what i see as being dedicated to Islam.) The moment query to invite is due to the fact whilst did turmoil begin in these kind of nations and at the hands of who? The Islamic international has already skilled the Islamic golden age. In this interval Islamic states wherein a lot more built & the folks a lot more cultured in comparison to different civilizations in their time. Examples are many. Islamic hospitals might supply unfastened offerings followed with enjoyment like tune. So the main issue is not Islam. The disorders stem from Muslims now not being Muslim. Much of what we see within the neighborhood is the influence of submit-colonial rule & interference (like Saddam, Hafez Al-Assad, Mubarak). Although I'm certainly not pronouncing Muslims aren't in charge. What I am pronouncing is that the Mid East, like Africa has been tremendously suppressed each culturally & politically by way of western forces now not best within the colonial days however even in these days. Who heard of sectarian tensions & radical extremists at the scales noticeable in these days earlier than Russian & American interventions within the neighborhood? It wasn't like in these days. One essential detail that has had a pivotal position in growing chaos within the nations acknowledged is extremism. If one experiences these types of “Muslim” atrocities, Wahhabi,Takfiri & Salafist radical developments are a traditional denominator. So as a result of radicalizing conflicts (just like the Afghanistan invasion), loss of highbrow knowledge & even western aid, nations like Saudi Arabia have grew to become small radical deviational sects into essential avid gamers within the Muslim international.

I question the "faith" of many Muslims. I was in Saudi Arabia during the first Gulf War. During the call to prayer, religion police (which are old men wielding canes) will beat you if you aren't praying.

A friend of mine was in a jewelry store and one of these religion cops starting beating on the door with his cane, and yelling at the jeweler. The jeweler said that those guys were real A** holes, and that he usually just locks his door and goes in the back room during the call to prayer.

They usually left us "infidels" alone, but when our females would go off-base, they had to wear a hijab. One time one of them had some hair protruding, and one of these old men started hitting her with a cane. An Airman grabbed it off him and broke it over his knee and it nearly started a riot.

How faithful can somebody be if they have to be threatened to practice a religion? What does it say about a religion that has to be forced upon someone?

Soon, the religion itself will either be forced by other sovereign, worldly entities and governments to reform it's teachings, or the practice of Islam will begin to be banned or taxed in certain places.

I do not hope that they lose their faith and hope. I only pray that they keep seeking the truth and then find out Jesus is God.
