My father does not speak to me nor my mother. My mother tries to speak to him but I don't want to speak to him. I disrespect him because he used to beat me harshly with a wooden 2 by 2 when I was smaller as a Haitian discipline, but I was raised in America. He locks up all his belongings with padlocks, even his clothes, tools, unimportant documents. He sleeps on a separate bed from my mother in the same room as her. He has never told us he loved us. He wears a "mask" to the rest of the outside family when they visit but when they leave, the "mask" comes off and he is the same old way again. He never tells us where he is going and when he takes us places , we ask where are we going and he denies us an answer. He does come through on holidays and he did take us places as a kid. He would take us to church, and to family events ( wearing the "mask") and even to cool places. He used to be nice but as time progressed he would become meaner and less caring.

About 4-5 months ago my bf left me bcuz he wasn't pleased with the way the house was running . Well now on Thursday he went to work and didnt' come home ! He called me the next day and let me know that he was not going to be returning home. Then today he shows up and says he wants to work it out . I'm confused bcuz we have 2 children together ... 1 and 2 and i have 2 children from b4 but they have been with him for the past 4 years. I feel guilty bcuz i dont' want to deprive them of a family but i dont' wanna look like a fool taking him back either. The first time he left he promised he never do it again and i let him come back , now he's done it again and i know in my heart if he was ever to leave again .... That would be it .... out the door he'll go but for now i just dont' know if i should give it another shot ? All answers are greatly appreciated ... ty in advance ! : )

I was wondering if anyone here, preferbly a doctor knew anything about stuttering. Ive been stuttering since i was little. It's better now then when i was younger. My parents put me in speech classes in elementry school and junior high to help with it. The problem is i wouldnt stutter when i was in the class, but i would stutter outside of the class. My question is, is there anything that a doctor can do to help with it. I want to be a nurse and my parents said that this can affect from from being one beause i'll have to relay messages to doctors really fast and get to the point, and i can't do that with my stuttering. I heard of this little divice that was invented that you can put in your ear to help stop stuttering. Is this true? I need some advice!!

I know every dryer sucks up a differing amount of electricity per use, but how much electricity do you estimate a dryer would use everytime you use it for an hour? I just recently bought a drying rack so that I won't even use my dryer anymore (dryer came with the apt), but after a friend and I discussed how much we thought a dryer consumed, it started me thinking. Any estimates would be great, thanks!

In the Old Testament, women who go in public without their heads covered should be stoned to death. Jesus said that children who don't obey their parents should be stoned. Is the Bible right or are we right today for ignoring it?

Should we stone sinners to death as the Bible proclaims, or are we 'better' than that? Does that mean that the Bible is not correct if it doesn't keep up with the times, or have Christians abandonded the precepts that the Bible teaches?

One or the other must be at fault. If we don't enforce Biblical laws, we aren't Christians. Otherwise, the Bible is not an infallible set of law, and therefore, not from God. Which is it? If Biblical law is not pertinent today, then it can't be from God, can it?

Coloratora and lirico spinto soprano singers need a duet, one that allows nice harmony and complements both voices. We already sung "the flower duet" and "dulces christe".

So my computer was costumized and we bought it for about $800 about 1 and a half to two years ago. I kind of think that the computer we bought was a rip off, and I kind of think it is because we bought just the CPU without the monitor, keyboards and anyth accessories. While at other stores, it cost about 800 for a whole set and it was looking new (colour black). The man also said that he would give us a deal and upgrade our computer to 512MB we agreed and we paid extra (that's why it summed up to $800 something). Anyways, I went into My Computer and checked the Properties. It is a Windows XP.

It says:
AMD Sempron (tm) Processor 2600 + 1.60 Ghz, 480 MB of RAM.

1) Was the price we bought it for worth it? Were we ripped off? Other better, well known stores sell for a lower price, complete set with 512MB of memory/RAM.

2) How do I check what kind of RAM I would require because I do not know how to check that. I am interested in buying RAM for my customized computer.

My cat, the love of my life, is not doing well and I have to make the horrible decision of whether to put her down or not.

She’s old. Her age is unknown (adopted 2 yrs ago) but it’s estimated to be around 14. She has kidney failure and has been receiving treatment for about 9 months. The kidneys are really bad and the treatment has not “fixed” it but it has been effective in the sense that kidneys have been stable.

Problem: about two weeks ago, her right eye started getting bloody. The doctors said it’s due to high blood pressure. After all the treatments, the eye got worse and now my poor baby has developed glaucoma. The blood pressure came down a little but it’s still high.

Decision

Option 1: Removing the eye: given her physical condition, her chances of surviving the surgery/recovery are 50/50 %.
Her vet said she may have about six months to live after the surgery.
Option 2: Putting her to sleep.

I cant decide. Please help, SOON.

I've been studying at Sussex Uni for the year, so I'm familiar with Brighton (also spent a good deal of time in Worthing and Lewes) but my parents are coming to visit in about a week. They are staying in London for the first couple days and want me to show them around. I have some of the most typical sights planned (Tower of London, London Eye etc.) but since the weather has been so wet... I was wondering if anyone had any good suggestions for what to do if it is pouring down rain. Thanks!

Everthing is choise. Everything is infinite possibility. Everything is the question. Nothing is the answer. Be you and change this world, be not you and suffer the world. Truth is your sword; choice is your creation. You are the gift. As you be the gift, you shall receive. So, as you be, you shall receive-different reality. Be it, claim it, own it, decide it, create it. Live not in the effect of life, but as the sourse of it. Know you as the greatness, perceive you as the greatness, be you as the greatness and receive you as the greatness, because that is the truth. Raz.
