A better way to keep urself informed about the current time in india would be , calculate the time in GMT which is universally accepted.
India is +5.30 hours GMT.
try to know what is the diff between ur time and GMT.
then it will be easier for u to know the time in india.

everytime u want to know just do the orginial us time sub 30 min from the u.s time and u will get the indian time. hope dat helps
