this may have been on. I have very few details but hopefully something about this will spark someone's memory:

I get the feeling this was one of those TV productions that showed three or so stories in an hour format. Possibly a feature film, but I doubt it. Had an English visual feel to it in my memory.

The plot is basically that there's a very rich man in an isolated (maybe English) castle/mansion and he is extremely ugly. He's been looking for a wife but he wants someone that really loves him and doesn't just want his money. He goes thru 2 or 3, he finds out they're after his $ and then he opens his mouth very wide and makes this deafening sound, which turns the women to stone. It ends with him killing the wife he thought really loved him b/c he finds out she really didn't love him either. In the movie, even tho he's killing them you feel sorry for this guy.

Any thoughts at all? I know this is really obscure.

I've always been attracted to leos, however, there is this macho-alpha male-stubborn-hot-tempered-almost controlling-posessive and jealous quality about them. Oh, and lets not forget PRIDE.They are very sneaky about it though..What I've noticed is once you break up with them, thats it. They never show you that they still care after that and move on fairly quickly. And in arguments, they are ALWAYS right, they have to win..so in the end you end up saying SORRY to make truce.

Why is it so easy for them to stop caring?

The poll by Mason-Dixon Polling and Research found that 52 percent of Americans wouldn't consider voting for Clinton, D-N.Y.
Thursday's survey provides a snapshot of the challenges she faces, according to Larry Harris, a Mason-Dixon principal.

"Hillary's carrying a lot of baggage," he said. "She's the only one that has a majority who say they can't vote for her."

Clinton rang up high negatives across the board, with 60 percent of independents, 56 percent of men, 47 percent of women and 88 percent of Republicans saying they wouldn't consider voting for her.

Having participated in the R&S melee for nearly two months now, I can safely say that there are a lot of people who spout off opinions about every issue known to man. Most of the time these are poorly constructed arguments that have more in common with heated emotion than with rational, thought-out theological contemplation. There is, however, one true Christian whose views I respect. When I see a posting by them I am just left speechless at the obvious intelligence and sensitivity displayed. They have almost made me drop my atheistic ways and convert to Christianity.

Parrakeets 4 Jesus, you are that shining example of Christianity. You have touched my heart. :) I strongly advise anyone else on here to follow the inspiring lead of Parrakeets 4 Jesus and tackle the truly important issues facing the world today.

To make this a question: what other Christians have inspired you with their message and why?

Why is it that when you find fault with us, you say we must try to prove God to you apart from the Word of God the Bible?
Why do you appear to despise this book so much? I ask this because even science in the formation of the plannets has to give over to a form of faith as there is no scientific fact to support the best current theories. 40 billion years ago, 20 million years ago, bla bla bla happened. How do you know? Were you there? Are you not reading this from a book as well? Is it not a matter of faith for you to believe in string theory, or the big bang theory?

For those of you that attmpt to disprove Christians based on the idea that our book is not correct, what basis do you have for refuting it? Have you studied ancient texts and noted how information was handed down form generation to generation by word of mouth. This was the accepted way to hear about a history of a people. The full, five-minute videotape touted as "smoking gun evidence" of two felonies committed by Sen. Hillary Clinton has been released to WND.

As WND reported, the tape was submitted as evidence to a California appeals court yesterday in a civil fraud suit against the New York Democrat and her husband, former President Bill Clinton.

WND reported in April the tape indicates Clinton -- despite denials throughout six years of investigation -- was directly involved with business mogul Peter Franklin Paul in producing a lavish Hollywood fundraiser in August 2000 that eventually cost Paul nearly $2 million.

Clinton's participation in the planning of the event would make Paul's substantial contributions a direct donation to her Senate campaign rather than her joint fundraising committee, violating federal statutes that limit "hard money" contributions to a candidate to $2,000 per person. Knowingly accepting or soliciting $25,000 or more in a calendar year is a felony carrying a prison sentence of up to five years.

Paul's complaint charges President Clinton destroyed his entertainment company to get out of a $17 million deal in which Clinton promised to promote the firm in exchange for stock, cash options and massive contributions to his wife's 2000 campaign. Paul contends he was directed by the Clintons and Democratic Party leaders to foot the bill for the Hollywood event.

In the tape, Clinton is heard via speakerphone thanking Paul, business partner Stan Lee and other colleagues for their efforts in putting together the fundraiser.

She also describes the role of longtime aide Kelly Craighead as assisting in day-to-day involvement in preparation for the event as her liaison with Paul and his producers.

Craighead, Clinton says, "talks all the time" with Paul, "so she'll be the person to convey whatever I need."

The aide's hands-on role is significant, because the law also implicates a candidate if any of his or her agents are involved in coordinating expenditures with a donor.

In another portion of the tape, Clinton is heard discussing her direct solicitation of a large contribution from the entertainer Cher. Paul's legal team, the U.S. Justice Foundation, argues the value of Cher's performance alone vastly exceeded the FEC limits.

The tape was one of 90 Paul was ordered to turn over to the U.S. attorney's office for the Eastern District of New York in 2001 as part of the investigation in a related securities case against him. But it has never been used as evidence, despite its relevance to the key question of Sen. Clinton's involvement in the Hollywood fundraiser.

Sen. Clinton has claimed through her spokesman Howard Wolfson that Paul gave no money to her campaign, and her supporters have denied she had any anything to do with coordinating the fund-raiser or soliciting contributions directly from donors.

Clinton's campaign has counted the more than $800,000 of in-kind contributions it reported in a 2006 amended FEC report for the Hollywood Gala as indirect, or "soft money," given to the New York Senate 2000 Committee, a state account that was run jointly by Clinton, the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee and the New York State Democratic Party.

The Clintons' longtime attorney David Kendall has not replied to WND's request for comment on Paul's videotape. Kendall previously has declined comment on the case, saying only to WND regarding the felony assertion, "Any such allegation is totally false and totally unsupported."
