There are accumulated hardened dust in the speakers of my notebook. I've been using cleaning sprays. Then, one time when I wipe them off, the plastic covering were also remove revealing the metal casing. It's not pleasing to look at. What can I do to cover them up? Can I spray paint them? Or can I have them change? My notebook is only 9mos old, but this damage is not warranty covered.

By the way, the ants problem were solved...

This sounds odd...
Ants are attracted by sugar and water. Been eating donuts over your laptop keyboard?

remove the keyboard and blow system out w/ canned air.

Peppermint oil is a great ant-repellant (but the oil will mark your case - eats plastic) - FYI.

Best of success.

Keep your notebook inside!
if the ants are inside then buy some "Home defense" and spray your house!

Your notebook needs a good de-bugging :)

Use cans of compressed air to blow out the dust & dirt.
