Having participated in the R&S melee for nearly two months now, I can safely say that there are a lot of people who spout off opinions about every issue known to man. Most of the time these are poorly constructed arguments that have more in common with heated emotion than with rational, thought-out theological contemplation. There is, however, one true Christian whose views I respect. When I see a posting by them I am just left speechless at the obvious intelligence and sensitivity displayed. They have almost made me drop my atheistic ways and convert to Christianity.
Parrakeets 4 Jesus, you are that shining example of Christianity. You have touched my heart. :) I strongly advise anyone else on here to follow the inspiring lead of Parrakeets 4 Jesus and tackle the truly important issues facing the world today.
To make this a question: what other Christians have inspired you with their message and why?

Really sweet thing u said here about a fellow christian. This person's testimony and Christ-like attitude in answering the questions is a real glory to the Lord. May he or she keep shining as a lamp-stand always.
I am just so glad for the " almost dropping of your atheistic ways" for many its not an easy thing to admit. The Lord truly is a wonderful person to get to know. He means only the best for us all. Hopefully you'd have a small opening one day...until then...keep in touch with those you truly appreciate as models of Christ-likeness...
Take care

Para is my secret Christian love-crush. Shhh. Don't tell her. The girl is brilliantly Christian - truly a Christian among so-called "other" Christians.
And yet, yet... another person stands out in my mind. Gunning4Jesus. Everyone misunderstood his name and he got beaten down by the theists and non-theists at first, but once they realized that he grew up in NJ where the words "gunning for" meant "on the side of; encouraging, i.e. 'He was gunning for the Democratic representative because his views mirrored hers." Gunning has been an outspoken and lovely spokesman for Christianity in the best and brightest of ways.
Hmmm. Maybe he should marry Parakeets4Jesus... they're both dang hot.

That was truly, one of the most well thought out and the CORNIEST speech I have heard yet. I've seen Christians like this, many others. Honestly, most of their comparisons are not equivalent. If you find one of these holes in their defense, they only attack you. I have no problem about their religion, as long as it is based around peace and love, but they always try to jam it down your throat, which is a personal problem I find in most Christians.

I will look for parakeets answers.
Is there a way to view all profiles ? Is there a way to search for the profile of a particular poster ?
There used to be a way to look at the "leaderboard" but I am not finding it anymore.

Father K and aka Dr. Cope are both very, very sweet. There is someone named Intro who has been respectfully emailing me about the Buddha prophesying Jesus.......I've had some meanies but not too bad.

I have found Esther to be a good source of information and a loving person. I will look for Parakeets as I answer questions too. It is nice to know people are appreciated for being kind and thoughtful. Thank you for your question.

I agree. Parakeets often brings me to tears. Sometimes I just sit with my mouth open, in admiration and wonder.
Also, the Church Lady. She would be my Bride of Christ once I decided which gender I am and all that...
