I was driving not far behind a car the same color as mine. He was speeding. The highway patrol pulled up behind us, after the car in front of me slowed down. The officer I could tell was not sure who was the guilty party. I received the ticket. Is it worth going to court to challenge my citation?

I have a cholesterol level/rating of 5.7 which is moderate to high risk. A typical day's diet:
Breakfast: a banana or oranges,
Lunch: 100% whole wheat bread w/ cheese (no margarine or butter) or 100% whole wheat bread w/ peanut butter.
Dinner: White rice w/ veggies and a meat dish (chicken wings or pork ... I don't often eat red meat) .. or some nights it's just white rice with veggies and tofu ... or white rice with spinach and salmon.
And for desert I do have a scoop of ice cream or stuff my face with watermelon.
I do snack on fruits like grapes and strawberries. I also wonder whether I can get diabetes from all this natural sugars!

Perhaps my dinner isn't the healthiest (??) but is it the cause of increasing my cholesterol levels? This year I have been pretty lazy with my workouts so past months, I've only worked out once a wk versus my past 3X a wk. Hence the weight gain ... but I'm curious about the increase in cholesterol level.
I'm 27, abt 5'5" and maybe 130-135lbs

I see often that either muslim people or others say that the media is trying to make islam look bad.

I just want to see some examples of what you are talking about, because I think that the media is very careful to NOT do that, and has even treated muslims in general reletively better than a lot of other groups in this regard.

And please don't go waaaaay off topic, just provide examples about how the media is out to get muslims and is the one making them look bad.

ok his mom left like 3 years ago and every since then he's been really depressed. well when he gets depressed he eats. I'm worried about him and i care alot. I just want him to be able to wake up in the morning. We don't see eachother cause neither of us drive, so we can't go on walks together. he is really sensitive and i'm afraid he won't talk to me ever again if i just come right out and say i'm worried about your weight. is there like any hints i can give him or things to say that would make him realize that i need to talk to him about it? i already said that i wanted to start dieting and he just said ok. he is really ashamed of it, cause i know he knows it. any suggestions???

ok in exodus chapter 21 it says "If a man sells his daughter as a female slave, she is not to go free as the male slaves do." basically its saying its alright to sell my daughter into slavery.

I'm asking because I noticed that most Christians I know do not follow the beliefs they claim are central to Christianity. This got me more interested in studying the Bible. The contradictions, brutality, theivery, lying, and perversions in the Bible finished off my belief. I'm a happy pagan (leaning toward Wiccan) now.
