I was driving not far behind a car the same color as mine. He was speeding. The highway patrol pulled up behind us, after the car in front of me slowed down. The officer I could tell was not sure who was the guilty party. I received the ticket. Is it worth going to court to challenge my citation?

The only problem with your story is the part where you accuse the other guy of speeding, but say you were not far behind him. That implies that you were speeding as well. Just pay the fine, you can't win.

The old excuse of "I was speeding to keep up with traffic flow" is not valid. It seems obvious that you were speeding too. The Officer does not have to issue a ticket to everyone who was speeding, just to the one that was caught/stopped. Pay the ticket and consider it a lesson learned.

If you were not far behind another car that was speeding, you must have been speeding.
