I felt an unusual thumping from my pacemaker. I called the orderly over to have a listen. He says it was playing Indagodadavida by Iron Butterfly.

What do you make of this? Could the doctor have inadvertently implated his ipod?

A couple return from their honeymoon and it's obvious to everyone that they are not talking to each other. The groom's best man takes him aside and asks what is wrong.

"Well," replied the man, "when we had finished making love on the first night, I got up to go to the bathroom and I put a $50 bill on the pillow without thinking."

"Oh, I shouldn't worry about that too much," said his friend. "I'm sure your wife will get over it soon enough. She can't expect you to have been saving yourself all these years!"

The groom nodded gently and said, "I don't know if I can get over it though, she gave me $20 change!"

why do I sometimes feel that people sould listen only to me and do what I want them to do and satisfy me when I need it.
When they don't I get jealous and frustrated.
I am not selfish but don't understand this. I only have this feeling sometimes.

I hate my life, nothing is right, everything is always going wrong. I feel as if I am having a breakdown. No amount of tears are helping me and it seems as though there is nothing that can fix anything in my life anymore.

I can't continue like this and I don't know what to do. I feel as if everything is so completely out of my control and it realistically is.

I am in therapy, under care of pcp and psych and on meds. I am also Bipolar and f*** (excuse me)

it all just really completely stinks and I am close to the bottom. I have been there before and that is some where I can never go again...it is a danger to my life (2 previous suicide attempts).

I am trying to keep my head above water, but the fight is just becoming too much for me. And my God, someone please tell me how to stop the tears.

I just hate life, I really do.

Thanks for listening and letting me vent!

John 3:16 states

"For God so loved the world he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him shall not perish but have everlasting life"

now question 1: Does this passage mean that if a person believes Jesus existed that they will go to heaven?

question 2: Does this passage mean that if a person believes and honors his teachings will go to heaven?

question 3: Wouldn't this passage cause the rest of the bible to be void if all one has to do is believe he existed?

question 4: When Jesus says "believeth in him" does he mean God, himself, or both? because one might take it to mean either one.

This is a stumper. If a can of compressed air is punctured and the escaping air blows to the right, the can will move to the left in a rocket-like fashion. Now consider a vacuum can that is punctured. The air blows in the left as it enters the can. After the vacuum is filled the can will:

a) be moving to the left
b) be moving to the right
c) not be moving

My 6 month old pup had 2 episodes of loose stools this morning, it was dark brown and thick muckish, it has never happened before.Last night, I fed him boiled stewed beef, which I had first fried in a little vegetable oil, and to which I added a very small pich of salt and garlic powder. Also, I had given him a few tidbits of beef from a stew to which I added sauteed mushrooms, onions and peas.Of course I gave him NONE of the mushrooms or onions but just a few pieces of the beef in the broth, and now I am terribly worried whether it has done him some harm? I know I shouldnt give him tidbits but he looked so woeful when I was eating!! He seems fine, is physically very alert and active, playful, is drinking water, has had no vomiting so far, but has had just the 2 incidents of loose stool till now, should i be worried and take him to the vet immediately? I do have an appointment with the vet later in the evening for his shots. Is this ok for him or need I be concerned? please help, thanks

A thousand years past, when life was dark, short, and brutal, as we inched kicking and screaming into the first hints of enlightenment, Christianity was hot to trot for slaughter, burning people alive, drowning 'witches,' persecuting and murdering Jews, enslaving, 'lords' and 'kings' and all that BS, and keeping women pregnant, illiterate, and at the hearth. What's ahead as we journey toward the end of the present one thousand? Do you think we puling primates, with a moveable thumb and a brain that is still wanting serious attention, will continue to babble on about the god of a murdering tribe of Bronze Age desert nomads?
