i know this isn't the most appropriate advice, but you said you didn't want any pills, or medication, and i can understand that practically everyone has said something about seeing a doctor or getting the pills, but there is one alternative i know off.

Changes in diet affect your cycle,so maybe you could go holy for a few days and fast for a bit. when i fasted, my period was delayed for a whole 2 weeks, but with no damage. Sorry, i don't think there's any other natural alternative. Atleast this way, you get what you wanted, and have a good deed?

hope i've helped.

xxx

ps. have fun on the cruise

How To Delay Period Naturally

This isn't exactly what you asked for - but I found my period would generally start on the day I did Callanetics (an exercise routine). Since I only did Callanetics once a week, I figured out that the abdominal wall exercises (the ones you shouldn't do while pregnant) triggered my period.

Also, I've found that during the months & years when I'm doing Callanetics, my period is shorter and lighter, and I get no period pains. It takes about three weeks to settle in - start now if you want it to make a difference!

The other thing that comes highly recommended is switching to sea sponge - I get mine from Boots the Chemist & cut it into right-size chunks, rinse in boiling water, then microwave in a mug of hot water for 2 minutes to sterilise - which has an internal chemistry that lines up nicely with *your* internal chemistry, and therefore makes you feel less icky.

Okay, I did a little digging and I found out that as a woman's menstrual cycle is controlled by her hormones, any alterations in their levels can influence when your period arrives. That's why factors such as stress can either speed up or delay your schedule, since they can change the production or secretion of hormones in the body. It's like when you're freaking out because your periods late and you're worried you're pregnant but it's late because you're worrying!

Unless you're extremely tolerant for massive amounts of physical or emotional stress, which isn't really a sure way to alter your cycle anyway, the only other option is to resort to an artificial hormone schedule in order to change when your period arrives. However, I know that's not what you want.

Sorry, mate, it doesn't look like it can be done without any pills. You could have a word with your GP, maybe he knows some way? If not, don't worry, you'll have a great time on your cruise anyway!

You should start by not wanting to get pregnant, just have sex everyday or every other day and don't think about getting pregnant, just have fun with your partner. Get more useful information and guides to get pregnant here https://tr.im/olCwA
after sex-put a pillow under your butt or prop your feet up on the wall so your pelvis is tilted
eat healthy
back off caffiene
workout, even if its just a 20 minute walk a day, be active.

You cnat, yes some people have delayed periods when stressed or worried, but this isn't guarenteed. I have never had a late period due to stress.

If you were on contraceptive pill, you can carry in with 2 packets and that can stop your pill, but then again everyones different, this works for me.

I don't think there is any was to definately delay them naturally, it all depends on the person.

The GP can presciribe pills that delay them.

Distracted dining is certain to get you in trouble. Avoid eating in front of a television or in a cinema, as you're bound to ingest more calories.

Snack attack! Puree peaches, berries or pears for a sweet spread to be on pita chips.
