My 6 month old pup had 2 episodes of loose stools this morning, it was dark brown and thick muckish, it has never happened before.Last night, I fed him boiled stewed beef, which I had first fried in a little vegetable oil, and to which I added a very small pich of salt and garlic powder. Also, I had given him a few tidbits of beef from a stew to which I added sauteed mushrooms, onions and peas.Of course I gave him NONE of the mushrooms or onions but just a few pieces of the beef in the broth, and now I am terribly worried whether it has done him some harm? I know I shouldnt give him tidbits but he looked so woeful when I was eating!! He seems fine, is physically very alert and active, playful, is drinking water, has had no vomiting so far, but has had just the 2 incidents of loose stool till now, should i be worried and take him to the vet immediately? I do have an appointment with the vet later in the evening for his shots. Is this ok for him or need I be concerned? please help, thanks

I think he is ok I feed my dog table scraps alon with teh dog food and they have had beef and stew before.
I would suggest taking a stool sample it kind of sounds like it might be worms.
Just keep an eye on him and make sure it doesn't get really bad but I'm pretty sure he will be fine

Has he ever eaten beef before? If not he may be allergic or intolerant to it. If he's active and playing I doubt this is an emergency.
