What sort of guitar should i start using?

(i dont know what quality i am looking for, but i intend to record and perform, but im a total beginner. - 16 year old petite girl. I want a kinda versatile sound but i know nothing about the instrument!)

I have this question for a chem class. Here is the question.

The bulk of human food is provided by eight grains (wheat, rice, corn, barley, oats, sorghum, millet and rye). Current world grain production is about 1.8 Billion metric tons, which is enough to feed about 8.1 Billion people. Assume for the sake of this problem that grain is the only food we eat. If the world's production of food is increasing linearly at 1.4% per year, how many people will be able to be fed at the time the world's population has doubled?
A. 10.0 Billion
B. 14.2 Billion
C. 620 Billion
D. I think it should be more than 12 Billion, but I don't get answer B or C

E. I think it should be less than 12 Billion but I don't get answer A

Now I have a formula that gave me how much food will be produced. The answer is 3,060,000,000. Now I need to figure out how to convert that to how many people that number can feed. Any ideas? Thaaanks.

I mean consider the fact that Germany lacked air superiority, fuel and things weren't the same back in 1940 in terms of tank superiority and manpower strength.

Moreover America being on the other side of the continent, was left basically intact beside pearl harbour and had the luxury of time and space to increase military production.

Your thoughts?

How to Survive an Anaconda Attack
According to the Peace Corps manual for volunteers who work in the Amazon jungle, here is how you survive an anaconda attack (edited for space).
1. Do not run. The snake is faster than you.
2. Lie flat on the ground, put your arms tight against your sides and your legs tight against each other.
3. Tuck your chin in.
4. The snake will begin to nudge and climb over your body.
5. Do not panic.
6. The snake will begin to swallow you feet first.
7. You must lie perfectly still. This will take a long time.
8. When the snake has reached your knees, reach down, take out your knife, slide it into the side of the snake’s mouth between the edge of its mouth and your leg. Quickly rip upward, severing the snake’s head.
9. Be sure you have your knife.
10. Be sure your knife is sharp.

Ok this is serious question that came to me after watching an episode of stargate (don't laugh). In this episode, O'neil and Teal'c are trapped in a ship and are rescued by another one. But to escape their ship they have to blow the top off, free float away from the ship for 5-6 sec before being transported aboard the other one.

So my question is this, can you survice in space for 5-6 seconds without a space suit ? If not, what's the main reason you would die instantly ?

surely some peole loved to swim then. And there was no lycra or spandex or synthetic materials. No wetsuits for chilly days, not even any surfboards to hang 10 on. What did they wear? And since they were probably biblically modest, they probably were dressed from head to toe. What? A bear fur? Donkey fur? They had to wear something modest, right?

I wasn't able to take my temp right when i got up, so i took it about an hour later. I know that i cant rely on it, but i tend to notice that after an hour or so my temp will go down after i take it first thing in the morning (i take my temp a lot) and wanted to know if i could assume that my temp would have been higher if i had taken it when i first woke up. Does anyone else notice that their temp drops a bit just after they get up? Thanks for any input :)

We have seen what they said would be a new openess in govt by their backroom deals trying to sneak a bill through before the american people knew about it. Not even reading a bill before they vote on it. Lets face it these people are out to destroy the american culture so shouldnt we voice our opinions on every bill not just the immigration bill. I think talk radio has started something here that could snowball. The american voters and taxpayers could again run this country and denounce these damn traitors.

I read in "American Gun and Hunter" magazine that the Bald Eagle population is now at 10,000, and that when it gets to 15,000 (est. 5-7 years) that there is a proposal to make available 1000 tags, by lottery, for the eagles. The states with the highest eagle populations would be allocated the most tags. Hunters would be allowed to hunt with center-fire rifles, shotguns, or archery equipment. The article pointed out that this would make it legal for any American to possess eagle feathers. As it stands now only American Indians can possess eagle feathers. Many hunters think that a Bald Eagle would make a beautiful trophy, but many disagree.

AB1634 has been amended for consideration by the Senate. The amendments change the bill significantly (and not for the better).

The intact permit would now be available for ONE male and ONE female animal in a household and they would be allowed to produce ONE litter (lifetime).
They would have to be spayed or neutered after this litter. Purebreds and mixed breeds are treated the same under this legislations. Titling age has been changed to 3 years. Local animal control agencies are still able to eliminate the "show dog" provisions in local ordinance (i.e., only service/working dogs, etc. would be eligible for the intact permits).

Try this:
1. Read the God Delusion by Dawkins, The Demon-Haunted World by Sagan and Atheist Universe by Mills
2. Read the Old Testament
3. Study everything you can about evolution and physics
4. Go to the web-site called the Skeptics Annotated Bible

What do you have to lose? Is anyone willing to take the challenge?

Atheists believe in the big bang theory right? That means they believe that there was a big explosion and all these tiny little atoms fit together in exactly such a way to create the world and the universe and the people and animals in it. Do you know how complex the human body is? If I had all the parts that make up a watch and I put them all in a box (all the little screws, the face of the clock, the hands of the clock, the wrist band, and all the little intricate pieces that make the clock tick on the inside) and i shook it up, no matter how long i shook the box for, even if i shook it for a million years, there is no way that all of those pieces would fall exactly where they needed to go to assemble a perfect watch. A human is far more complex than a watch, and the universe is countless times more intricate. Atheists are saying that there was no creator and so all of this just coincidentally fell into place. Sorry, thats not a very good argument to me. Feel free to comment back with your own thoughts.
