surely some peole loved to swim then. And there was no lycra or spandex or synthetic materials. No wetsuits for chilly days, not even any surfboards to hang 10 on. What did they wear? And since they were probably biblically modest, they probably were dressed from head to toe. What? A bear fur? Donkey fur? They had to wear something modest, right?

i don't know if they really did swim. i think that they went into the rivers and stuff to bathe... i don't think that they called it swimming as such....

I imagine the same thing that women in Iraq or Iran wear. I don't see the setting being much different.

I actually know this. The Romans invented the Bikini. Dont know what the guys wore, probably nothing.

Seriously though I believe that if they went swimming (which wasn't as much of a recreation back then) they'd either be fully clothed or completely naked.

I would imagine that they stripped down to just the inner garment (tunic) and went it the water.
