I am a 16 year old who's been playing piano ever since I can remember. I am also an aspiring concert pianist, but can find no support from my friends/family for this profession. I am extremely dedicated to piano.

Could someone please tell me an effective method of practicing, and how not to lose concentration? I can play for up to 5 hours, but I hear that concert pianists play up to 12. Also, is there any risk of me losing me hearing because of being exposed to so much piano playing?

I also heard about this one girl my mom knew who entered a conservatory but had to drop out after the first semester because she permanently damaged her hands. How should I practice so this doesn't happen?

I know I have a lot of questions :) but thanks a lot for reading.

PS I love playing the piano - it's not just for my teacher or the audience.

I'm going swimming tomorrow with some of my friends, and I'm on my period. However, I love to swim, and I really want to. However, I don't know if it's safe to swim. I know I'm supposed to use a tampon, but is any blood going to come out by any chance? And if I'm swimming for about two or more hours, what should I do?

I mean why in the world would Sherri Martel have been on steroids when shes not even in WWE/WWF anymore? HELLO there are other ways wrestlers can die besides steroids!

On Fox they were talking about her death and they said they asked someone in her family is she was on steroids and were like pretty much blaming steroids for that too!

i'm going to be a senior this upcoming school year. As of right now i have a gpa of a 4.13 (on a 5.0 scale) and an ACT score of 24. I want have a pre-med major at the University of Illinois in Chicago or Loyola University. Now i've heard of people taking the easy way out by applying as an undecided. As far as i am concerned, what should my gpa/act score be to consider applying for a pre med major?

Also, if i apply as an undecided...how difficult is the process to change it to pre med? And how do so many people get away with it?

Ok, I have 5 gallon salt water (I know small.. But my dad with money and pets.. DOn't mix), 2 small fishies.. (started with a T and they described it as small and beautiful fish), 1 starfish, 2 emerald crabs and some small snails. 2 Lbs of Live Rock and 5 lbs of Live Sand AragAlive! The filter is Whisper with a little bio filter bag stuffed in it. The people at the store told me to do it... o_o The Bio filter bag had little cylinder chaped what seems to have the texture of chalk. o_o.. Is it Over crowding? Do Invertebrates need alot of room? Is it too much.. Tell me what you think.. And sorry about the not definite about the fish and stuff. I like fish but I don't know nothing about them xD

So I really want something to give my guests that has my personality all over it, but giving them something to flaunt as well. I want to do wristbands that say something about my party. Besides ordering custom-anything, I want to make them myself, I'm pretty crafty. I just can't come up with any wristbands a bunch of blank wristbands I can 'jazz-up' [for both guys & girls, keep in mind.]

I want to ask this girl out to a date in a month or two and I am trying my hardest to find out what to do to get her to like me and do good on the date. lately on my '69 beetle iv'e been having an annoying turn signal issue.
it happens when im driving at night, and have the normal lights on (low beams, running lights, tail/brake lights, dash etc). ill flip on the left or right turn signal, and the indicator in the speedometer flashes once or twice, then goes out. but when it does instead of it continually flashing the leftmost warning light flashes somewhat dimly instead, and the turn signals themselves on the outside continue flashing.
at first it only happened at night when i use all the available lights for normal night travel, but now its started up during the day.
so for starters its obvious its an electrical problem, and my best guess is that the battery itself is starting to become worn out. (it probably hasn't ever been changed) and not able to handle such a load of all those lights at once.
i know the basics of a car's electrical system, but not enough to diagnose my car correctly and find a fix for it. and it is a 12V. help?
