Almost all of the footage is raw, unedited as-it-happened footage. But there are several Venezuelan citizens murdered by the CIA backed Venezuelan police......not for the squeamish

"Yes, I know he's a tyrant and is robbing his country blind while simultaneously, stepping down the personal rights and freedom of the good people of Venezuela. "
There's not an iota of truth to what Scenic Point wrote. Totally inaccurate. Get the DVDs for a starting point if you're serious about learning about Hugo Chavez

He is like any politician. What we see in a politician and his politics is but the tip of the ice berg. What do we not know ?The inside of the ice berg , mean where the real politics are played. Chavez is no exception. He may have many personalities but only one known to the public. Some of the rest he keeps to himself others are known only to those close to him.
I think politics has to be that way.All the truth cannot be revealed at the social and if revealed it could raise 90 % adverse remarks to drown the 1% truth. So caution at what you talk-check th mentality of the greatest many and be on safe side.
Politics has always been a device as to how to work for the upliftment of the world social. So blame no politician except those going mad thinking and acting to show to the world that they are next to the Almighty!
Where Chavez fits in the story? He might not know !

Yep, he's the man showing that there is another way to lead a country other than imposing free market dog-eat-dog economics and waging wars in the Middle East for oil and to enrich the already bloated criminals of the Bush administration and the industrial-military complex. I'd recommend the book "Hugo Chavez and the Bolivarian Revolution" by Richard Gott. A good account of the man, his politics and his motivations. It also includes details of the US's pathetic attempts to overthrow him! A good read.

He's survived 2 coups since becoming president.
Pat Buchanan wants him assassinated, and said so on US TV. So why isn't this Republican warthog being vilified for doing so?
His country has oil, and he's not prepared to give it to Bush. That's why the right think he's a 'dictator'. Go Chavez!

He is one of those people who do not want to be pushed around by the Yankees. He can do better if he follows the Mugabe way. Presently he is 4th behind Mugabe and there is no 2nd and 3rd.

Chavez is a rude Communist who insulted the elected Mayor of London, Ken Livingstone, by failing to turn up for a meeting he had arranged when Ken was in Venezuela.
Yah boo, Chavez!
