What's a good gift to buy a long lost friend?

I want to buy a present for my friend, but do not know what would be good. Any suggestions?

I would say get him/her something with their favorite color on it, or if you have a picture of both of you on it buy a picture frame saying buddies for life or something like that and put the picture of both of you in it and give it to him/her.
