This place, (kc) has taken its toll on me. I am young, just turned 21 two months ago, and think I would be better suited in Flordia. I dont know many people down there, but Ive heard that night life is amazing. I would plan on getting a job as a bartender to pay the bills, and contuine my education at a community college down there. Any advice you have about moving, location, weather, traffic or anything else about Flordia would be aprreicated!! I would love to find a small place on the beach, but I doubt that would happen. I was thinking about Palm Beach or Boca. Miami might be a little crowded for my taste. Any help or thoughts???? Thanks so much!

Odd, the Repubs said it was just FINE for us to give up our rights and let the govmint listen to our phone calls if we weren't up to anything why should we care? Now they defend Dick Cheney who actually HAS something to hide! Insane!

I am about to enter either the Navy or Airforce and I am currently a translator and would love to be able to continue this profession for my country but I have been told that if I do I will be sent to the war zone. Being a dedicated wife and mom of two, I really don't want to choose a career that will definitely put me on war's path--I realize that there are no guarentees once you enter the military. my bride to be has her dream wedding planned, and her parents willing to pay, but their ideas are different, with the response usually being, well, we are paying for it, so we get the last decision..........its not the issue of cost, my gf wants a simpler wedding, they are picking the colors, flowers,cakes..........ect,ect.........we give our idea, then they tell the people what we want......is this right?

so she searched all over the city for something to get her husband. She then found this pet shop, she went in and asked for something the most unuasly animal, he then brought out this little ball of fluff about the size of her head, he then said

this creature is called the klafooma and if you say klaffooma and an object it will imediatly rip up that object and destry it completly, ok lets have a look "kllafooma newspaper" it get up and rip and destroys the paper, 10 seconds later there is no paper

I KNow most of you know aboutthe baby kaleb story. If I was in court being accused of somethign so serious i would nt be sittinge there wiht such an amused look on my face.... I think the most important part of her statement is how she mentioned he wouldnt stop crying...that's usually what sets a person off to shake a baby.... anyone else have any opinions?

I used the phrase "OI!" to get someone's attention at work because I like the way it sounds. Heard it in a lotta British flicks I've seen, so I threw it out there. Another woman at work got offended because she said it means "Hey sh*thead". Is this right? Should I not use it at work?

(If i stomp my toe, they might say "Shoot") or (If someone gets hit by a ball in the face, someone else my say "Daaaaaang")

Basically when we say these words out of an significant event that happened, it sounds like we are substituting curse words with a less graphic word to sound more innocent.

I just wanted to hear peoples honest opinions of protein shakes, do they actually help you to gain weight? i am an underweight 16y.o boy looking to build muscle mass. I am currently lifting dumbells but need more from my workout. Could you also perhaps suggest the best time to consume these shakes, before or after workout? and by how long?

I am 20 and currently doing part-time work as a telemarketer for my university during the summer.

My vocal teacher offered me an opportunity to sing Soprano 1 at a church. You sing twice a day on Sundays and the pay is supposedly pretty good. However the church is located 45 minutes drive from my location. I don't have a car, and I'm not sure how long it takes by bus.

Would you try for this singing job or just forget it because of the transportation problem?
( I don't live with my parents either, so I can't ask them to drive.)
