I have a Sharp R-85ST Combination Microwave/fan oven/grill which I have been using very happily for about 1 1/2 years, using the fan oven at least once a day and odd 1 minute bursts from the micro to heat toddler's milk.

The turntable has stopped turning! What does this mean, is everything about to conk out on it? I am aware that the turntable helps stuff cook evenly, especially when using the microwave, I am just worried that the whole thing will now die on me! And is it worth getting fixed? It wasn't cheap, and I am on a limited income! Can't do without it, especially the oven, as I said I use it daily. I am worried that it would have to be taken away to be fixed. Yes I DO have a normal cooker but I have a disabled child who cannot understand danger, I placed my Sharp well above her reach for safety, I really can't do without it...

I have a 10 year old female cat, and i just got a 10 week old male kitten, my female cat is not so hot about the new kitten, she doesn't mind him if he is minding his own buisness, but he won't leave her alone, he jumps on her and always wants to play with her, so i fugured that i better let him get swat by her a few times and maybe he will learn, but i don't think it's working.

Engineered hardwood floors on concrete. We just pulled up the old carpet and there is over spray paint from the builders on the concrete. Does that need to be completely scrapped up before applying the vapor barrier/glue?

I don't want to quit my job. I like what I do even if it is in the corporate world. I want to take a vacation to help people less fortunate. Probably in a foreign country. I looked into the peace corp but they require a commitment of atleast 2 years. Any one have any ideas?

I am close to my period, i am supposed to start on or around the 27th. I had spotting on the 13th [i was ovulating around then} and then had a small area of pink on my pantyliner on the 19th, and on the 21st i had a pretty good size amount of pink on my pantyliner. I been getting cramps every so often for about a week and my breasts have been tender. Has anyone had their cramps get more intense towards their period thinking it would come any day now, but come to find out they were pregnant? Anyone have a simular situation? Just to say I am trying to conceive, ever since July of last year. I haven't ever had spotting like that either. Thanks :-}

I just heard on ABC nightly news that they did find her body and have arrested the police officer who she has her child with and who expected as her unborn baby's father!

What do you think?

I plan on putting up a business card at my Aunts house. She runs a daycare from her home and has several clients. I have a feeling she would put in a good word for me if anyone asks her opinion. How does the DH rule apply to interleague play? Does just the AL have a DH, or do they both get one, or is the DH rule scrapped during these sessions?

Shouldn't that be up to the owners? If you own a club, why should you be forced to make it non-smoking? If you don't like the smoke then just go somewhere else, it's not like there's a shortage of clubs around, no one's forcing you to go in. And as for the people who work there, didn't you realise you'd be working in a smoking environment when you took the job??

Smoking is what people do in a pub or club (as well as drinking of course), in fact I know people who don't smoke much unless they're out drinking. So if you know there's cigarette smoke and you're a non smoker, then why the hell would you want to work there?? And why is going to be a law for it?

If they want to make laws to protect people in their workplace, how about banning nuts in the workplace so that people with nut allergies can work in the KP Peanut factory.

I recently looked at a home in interested in buying it was built in 1998 and is a beautiful home the only problem is there is a mold problem in the kitchen and down through the celler.I can get the home at a great price but how much of a headache would it be getting it removed or is it even worth it? the house is truly a beautiful home and i dont want to pass it up. please help, any suggestions is appreciated.

I haven't paid much attention to politics in my life, but I want to get informed. My main interest right now is to learn about all the possible presidential candidates and where they stand on all the major issues. It would be so helpful if there was just one website that outlined this for me, and was geared for people who don't know a ton about politics but want to learn. Is there such a website, and if not, where should I start if I want to get more familiar with this subject?

Consider this.

I often find myself in situations where I am being insulted and/or made fun of by people 'for a joke'. I'm not saying that it's just me or anything. I think this happens with everyone to some extent or another. I feel like I'm being provoked to some sort of emotional reaction by hurtful or irritating behaviour that is being ostensibly portrayed and "just messing around". This behaviour may indeed be entertaining for the person handing it out or a third party for whatever reason.

I feel a strong social pressure to 'take it on the chin'; to participate in the 'joke' simply to cover over the fact that I might really be hurt or annoyed. I might want to cover over the fact because the threat of the taboo of 'over sensitivity' might get pushed on me.

I mustn't show that I'm responding emotionally to the jibe because people might think i "can't take it" and I'm "getting upset" which is a 'bad' thing.

What do you think?
