I am almost 12 years old and I am looking for a good location to take my Bat Mitzva in Los Angeles, California! I don't want to take it in a very expensive place nore a very cheap place. I want it to be big enough for at least 100 or 120 people. Do you have any ideas? Like I am not religious so please don't say to get it in a synygog. I just want to rent somewhere. Renting a location like a synygog won't be bad but I want it to be big!!!! Please if you have any locations tell me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can someone give me some drink mixes or brands that are good for dieters? I don't like Smirnoff's or Mikes Hard Lemonade because of the empty calories and they give me a hangover. Hard liquor (vodka, jaeger, etc.) have gotten boring by themselves

Okay so I'm pregnant and very close to delivery, two months away. Its difficult for me to work, since I get tired easily.

My issue is I need things, besides the regular house expenses, you know food and cleaning supplies. I need to buy maternity clothes only have two garments that are, everything else I can't really fit, and other stuff, i want to get my hair done haven't had that in months, just things like that.

The problem is I ask my fiance for money hesitantly might I ad and he gives me such a hard time. He'll only give me enough money for groceries and a couple I really mean it like 2 dollars for myself. It's not that we're super poor either. He'll go an splurge on a video game or other things (recreational) stuff for himself. So now I'm stuck can't get a job, becuase no one wants to hire the pregoe, and without money.

How can I get my fiance to be less selfish with money. And help him to see its both of ours.
when i had a job i shared it all with him, every dime!

I want to go to something (non-touristy) in Los Angeles tomorrow.

I'm from LA, so I can get around okay. I'm just looking for some new ideas of places to visit, preferably an interesting place to meet new people (no clubs please). Any cool events going on?

and the wedding gifts was taken to the shower. The shower was the time to have a good time with her friends. Sometimes a 2nd shower was held with family invited. There wasnt a bachelorette party as that was the same thing as the shower with her friends. Those who did not attend either shower usually brought a gift to the wedding/reception. Nowadays it seems brides want a shower and a bachelorette party and expect gifts at both of them along with a gift to be given at the wedding. So there are 2 or 3 gifts expected and most people invited seem to agree with this. I know societal norms change with each generation and if it was an extravagant wedding and reception with sit down meal being served I would probably bring a 2nd gift to the wedding. As for "regular" weddings I only give the one gift as that is what was done in my time. I am 44 and definitely not a "fuddy duddy", but I think it is just selfishness to expect so much. Am I in the minority on this? Please no rude answers

I tried one cold for the first time today, and I actually kind of wanted to eat only half of it cold and then the other half hot but I got lazy and just ate the whole thing cold. I feel like maybe I wasted the burrito, because it was good, but maybe I would have enjoyed it even more if it was hot. What do you think? I'll probably have another for dinner and eat it all hot.

In 2004 an article in Science magazine discussed a study by Prof. Naomi Oreskes in which she surveyed 928 scientific journal articles that matched the search [global climate change] at the ISI Web of Science. Of these, according to Oreskes, 75% agreed with the consensus view (either implicitly or explicitly), 25% took no stand one way or the other, and none rejected the consensus.

Benny Peiser attempted to replicate the study, and found 34 articles that "reject or doubt" the consensus view--that is, 3% rather than the 0% that Oreskes found in her sample. Only 1 of those papers actually rejected the consensus, and it was an editorial, not a research paper.

Another guy did a similar small study of 25 papers to verify the claims, and found 20% explicitly endorsed, 84% explicitly or implicitly endorsed, 16% were neutral, and none rejected the consensus position.

Since no research papers rejected the 'consensus', how is that not a consensus?

Okay - going to Vegas, and would like to have a few "essentials" in our room, but don't want to fly them out on the plane.

Where would be the best place to shop?

Thanks!
