In Paris everyone lives in apartments. I can't think of a neighborhood where there are rows of houses. In the suburbs of Paris there are houses. In other cities like Lille and Reims there are more houses, yet most live in apartments.

Most have apartments, then they own a home in the country that they get to visit when they get their month of vacation every year.

At least, everyone I knew from there did.
