RE:
What Should I Include on a good babysitting business card?
I plan on putting up a business card at my Aunts house. She runs a daycare from her home and has several clients. I have a feeling she would put in a good word for me if anyone asks her opinion. I have not taken a Red-Cross class, but thinking about doing so. Here is a sample of what I'm...

Print them yourself and make some flyers Put a photo of yourself(look sweet as can be) on the card and flyer Dont use your last name put your email + phone number *common sense* dont use your address put what time you are available Put that you are flexible for pay( you have lots of competition so you don't want to be the one that charges more) put what ages your willing to look after and how much experience you have in babysitting for where to dispense these ask store owners if you can put it on their pin board or tape it on a wall If you go to church then chat around with families that have kids and offer your card Make a facebook page specifically for babysitting- so just a photo and info about who you are, this will give parents some comfort. Also put the facebook link on the card and flyer. If you do good work people will like the page and may write good comments that others will see giving you more customers. For a name panda doesn't really fit what you are doing unless you want to be called Panda Nanny. It needs to look professional so people know you don't screw around especially when it comes to watching kids if you owned a daycare then you could name it something with panda

You want to put that all on a card?
For just a card, I would put your name, email, and phone number, and what you offer Babysitting for ages 8 months - 11 years.
They maybe you could make a flyer with the other details. You can skip "love kids" that is just fluff. I would add your basic rate, including the rate for multiple children. And state "references upon request."
Then stick a bunch of your cards in a little pouch by the flyer.

i wouldn't put up cost because u might want to charge more for a higher number of kids, and if you just say $10 an hour, you could be watcing 1 or 5 kids for the same price

Brief description of yourself (age, availability, phone number, age of kids you like, number of kids you can handle, their place or yours) NO REFERENCES! Never give out other people's information in public, even with their permission. They'll thank you for the courtesy. You could just write ("references available upon request")
