Im currently doing an assignment that requires me to talk about Switzerland's Government

I've been researching for hours and I have many other things I need to do. I would appriciate if someone can give me flow charts of the Swiss Government and info about the government that is easy to understand. Sorry! I'm in a rush!

In 1776, Americans fought a war of independence. It was a struggle to be free of the bonds of government. They wanted to make their own rules and not have rules forced upon them by an oppressive government. They formed a government of their own. A government designed not to interfere with their personal liberty nor their freedom of choice.
Is this independent spirit waning in America? Are Americans becoming too dependent on their government?
A national healthcare system will be one more way for the government to control your life. Are you willing to give up more independence?

(Disclaimer: First off, I understand that you are not suppose to ask or expect anything, but people often give gifts at weddings and they usually inquire about whether or not a registry exists.)

I am really curious about this, because I really don't have a problem with it at all. Is it a generational thing? I am in my late 20's, how do others in this age range feel about this?

When I attend a friends wedding, I want to give them what THEY want, not what the rules of etiquette tell me that I should give them. No one seems to mind if they have a registry set up at Target or wherever, so why is it bad to have a honeymoon registry?

I would much rather give the couple money towards their honeymoon than a vase, toaster, etc. which they may or may not ever use. Plus, I think it's easier as I can give exactly the amount that I can afford, rather than trying to find a combination of things on a registry, that fit my budget.

Are they admitting they are moral relativists? They have said in other questions that polygamy was okay during the Old Testament days, but that God changed his mind and now it isn't anymore. Or, they say that it was a different culture and our modern culture should have different rules. That sounds like relativism to me.
