And they say Vedas does not belong to Hindus and is a universal one.
some jesuits live in ashrams like a Hindu saint or rishi and are trying to convert Hindus(eg kurisumala, santivanam)

If these people keep doing like this, then surely Hindu terrorists are goin to spring...

I'm a complete techno-phobe but need to buy a laptop; I need one for my studies (so guess it needs a big memory for storing essays etc) and I also want to go online, store photos, download and store music etc. Don't play games at all - can anyone recommend a good laptop? My girlfriend went to Italy and she calls me maybe every other day if I'm lucky with a payphone and calling card. Her cell does not work, she cannot use the internet for some reason. It takes 5-10 days for a letter to possibly get through because from what I have heard Italy is bad with their mail? I missed her call yesterday when I lost signal walking into a bank for 5 minutes, YAY now I have to wait a day or two more to hear from her, and then she only can talk for like 2 minutes. I have no idea whats going on, how her days are going, if shes eating ok, has enough money, lives in a safe place, has transporttion, etc, etc.

Is there a good way for her to communicate with me that you can think of I'm fresh out of Ideas. Even though letters take forever I'm still sending them.

I am only going tho make $200 at one job before taxes, so i think i can claim exempt there. However at my other job i will be making well over 10,000. and will be claiming 1, or 2(which is better?) So can i do that at the smaller job?

I am a black man and I wonder why we love our women(black and white) with extra padding. For me, I love women that dont look like stick figures and got meat on their bones. White men on the other hand think its repulsive to see big butts and thighs. Why are we so different in the embrace of women. They call the women fat and unattractive when they are slightly larger, most black men call that sexy. Why the big difference? I dont get it. I love my big sisters and wouldnt have it any other way black or white women alike.....

We all know that diabetes and thyroid disorders are both endocrine diseases and frequently autoimmune. Is it common for type 1s to also develop thyroid problems? I saw my endo yesterday and while everything was just fine (office blood sugar was 114 and I use a pump), my doctor took notice of my enlarged thyroid (something I never noticed). He asked me if I had gained some weight and I told him I had gained about 7 pounds in the last 6 weeks and my doctor also saw that my skin was really dry.

Now, I have a appointment for a whole lot of blood work (mostly thyroid and vitamin levels, along with the usual metabolic panels, blood count and A1C). I was tested for thyroid problems about 12-13 years ago and while my levels were slightly out of range, they were nothing to be concerned about.

So...hmmmm. I guess I'll wait fot the bloodwork to come back and see if I need to be adding Synthroid to my daily medications. Oh well.

I have tried a brand new adapter from dell, but the computer still says it requires a 90w adapter. I definitely have the right one and have tried a different one which is known to be good.

When booting off battery power, I do not get the message, and the machine runs fine.

I have updated the bios to the latest version.


Has anyone seen this before? Does anyone have any suggestions other than throw this beater away?

I have a friend of mine going through an dilly of a perdicament. She has been living in a rent stabilized unit for 10 years on the Upper West Side. Recently she received an eviction notice saying that she owed back rent from 1999.

They asked her to furnish proof of payment but could not (who keeps receipts that long?) So does anyone know anything about tenent law and if this is even legal? The total of monies they claim she owes is $1000 - a pitance I know, but still - can they evel legally evict her for that?
