I'm 17 years old right now, and I'm having a bit of a problem right now. I just graduated high school, summers coming up and college is just around the corner. I've seriously began looking at my weight now and it's such an issue.

I gained about 10 pounds in just a month because I've been consuming alot of alcohol and eating alot of junk food. I'm trying to turn it all around, want to lose some weight and had some questions.Also, I'm starting to take kickboxing and brazilian ju jitsu classes- so this is also one of my reasons to get my weight down.

I'm a little over 5 9 in height, weigh about 183.4 pounds right now. I just needed some advice on:

What is a good attainable weight in about 2/3 months?

What is the proper type of diet?

What type of workouts should I do?


These are basic questions, I just wanted some personal imputs so I can put it all into play. Thanks.

Everytime I come here there's someone talking about how everyone's trying to be them, how insanely different and inspiring they are, it's like they actually believe that they're right up there with Elvis, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, etc...I mean, they're a good band, but I could'nt tell the difference between them and any other emo band out there!

Can someone please explain this to me?

I have an Argus Quick clix 3185 digital. I have just had it a little over a year. I am always having to replace the batteries. They don't seem to last long at all. Maybe sometimes a week, but usually a few days. I do not know why this camera is doing this. I assume there is something wrong with it. I guess I will have to call where I ordered it and they can replace it since I purchased and Extensive service plan. But does anyone know why it would continuosly use batteries as quick as it does? Thank anyone for any help..

I was married once before and the guy turned out to be a real jerk. He promised all these things, but once it all came down to it he changed. It only lasted about 6 months and we got divorced a month shy of a year. I've been dating my present boyfriend for 2 years. He's talked about marriage numerous times, but Im still really scared. Why do christians constantly spread god? I am not a christian but I do not constantly talk about what I believe in. Every single question is anwsered with something to do with god. Why do you feel that everyone must be a christian? People have the right to believe in what they want to without being persuaded to be a christian. You can believe in what you want, but why do you try to shove it down everyone's throats? I mean missionaries!!! You go to other countries and try to make them christian. Please explain to me why you do this so I can stop being so frustrated and understand.

When I put my car in drive it will not go more then 5mph even when floored but when in park or N it will rev fine and my battery , brake, ABS and service lights are all on and the battery will go dead after turning the car on and off a couple times

I'm sure it is very simple. But can someone explain to me how too add the number 1 to a fraction? Say for example:

1 + sqrt 5/5

1 + 7/12

What I have been doing so far is just coming up with a common denominator and then adding the numerators, but every time I try that with 1 I just end up getting a whole number. So taking the 1 + 7/12 example, I would multiply 1/1 by 12, get 12/12, which just takes me back to 1. Help please!

For my homework i have to research a mistake made by scientists, the consequences of that mistake, why they made it and how it could have been prevented. Something like a drug which seems to help but instead ends up in severe side effects such as disabilites.
