The day would be twice as long. Besides having to reorder our schedules, this would mean that the days would be hotter and the nights colder, because you'd get 24 hours of sunlight and 24 hours of night. The effect would be most noticeable in deserts, where there is already a high temperature variance between night and day. The temperature change would probably cause climate changes but I don't know precisely what they would be, it would depends on how they effected major ocean currents and wind patterns. It would probably not seriously threaten the inhabitability of Earth, but it might melt the polar ice caps or start a new ice age.

Rotation is how long it takes the earth to spin around one time (a day). Revolution is how long it takes the earth to go around the sun once. So it's taking the earth twice as long to spin once around. The length of the year is unchanged.

Well, what do you think? If the period of rotation (the 24-hour day) doubled (to 48 hours), what do you think would happen?
It isn't "c" or "d" - a year is the time to go around the sun, so the earth's rotation wouldn't affect that.
It isn't "e" - the question says the length of day would double.
So it must be either "a" or "b" - you figure out which.
This (and your other questions) are just simple common sense, if you just read the question and think a moment it will be obvious to you. I mean, you can read and think, can't you?

Ifthe Earth spins twice as fast, each day would be 12 hrs long. (which, on the day of the equinox, would be 6 hours of day and 6 hours of night.)
The time it takes to go around the sun, is unaffected, so the number of hours in a year would be the same--we would just count twice the number of days in the same period of time.
