why does vso convertxtodvd keep askin me to insert a dual layer disc ? the movie easily fits onto normal 4.7gb

Go to Settings and click on General. Select the Encoding tab. Where it says Target size, click the drop down menu and change this to DVD-5 (4400 MB). That should see you alright.
