When I put my car in drive it will not go more then 5mph even when floored but when in park or N it will rev fine and my battery , brake, ABS and service lights are all on and the battery will go dead after turning the car on and off a couple times

Start with the basics. Number one is the battery. Everything depends on having a known good battery before you can troubleshoot anything further. So if your battery is 5 or more years old, buy a new one and if you think it's good, have it load tested at the auto parts store. Of course all the electrical connections to the battery and into the car have to be good as well. Your car may have electronic controls of the transmission that could affect this problem, so since only you know what car you own, I would research exactly how your transmission works in your car including both mechanical and electronic operation.

check alternator and battery and get new torque converter
