hokay, so theres this guy that i really like and he really likes me too but everytime i try to talk to him he just give me one word answers and the conversations ends quickly because i run out of question to ask him. i don't know how to get him to actually talk to me and have a conversation with me...any ideas??

Well, if he's shy, the only way to know if he likes you is to be persistent. If you keep trying long enough, he has got to become comfortable with you. I think you might have better luck if you just start hanging out with him. Hang out with him even if he seems quiet. Try asking him what he likes to do for fun, what he wants to do in life, that sort of thing. He can't really give one word answers to those kinds of questions. (Start the conversation by asking about his day . . . .) Try doing fun things with him. I suggest frisbee golf, or board games, or something he mentions as one of his hobbies. Good luck!

Make a list of things to ask him. If he is shy then talk for most of the conversation. If he keeps answering with only one word then ask him about it and tell him you would like it if he answered with more words.

I agree with the first answer. Find a way to IM him, if possible.
That will give him a layer of protection from feeling embarrassed or not know what to say.
Sounds like he is intimidated talking to you. Find a topic he REALLY likes to talk about and get him to open up about it. Then take it from there.

He might be gay or bi-sexual, or just not interested in having a deeper relationship right now. Don't try to force yourself on him. Maybe you could "text" each other and then develop a relationship from there. There are plenty of guys looking for sex, but of course you never know who has AIDS, etc. Take care and good luck.

In order to have a good conversation you have to find something that both him and yourself have in common. Whether it be sports, tv, outdoors, that will give you the basis to start a conversation then grow a conversation from there.

there was this guy i really liked and he liked me too and he was trying to have a conversation w/ me but i was too shy..and he just stopped talking to me and now im desperate to get him to talk to me again...
just stop talking to him and if he really likes you he ll talk to you..but if he's too shy just try to let him know that you like him..tell his friends or something.

You have to catch him offguard
Touch him
Grab his hand.
Do the "you're so cute" thing where you put you hand on his chest and walk away
He needs to know you're not just talking to him but you really like him

Talk about things he and you like. It usally holds up a coversation for a little bit. Maybe wait for him to talk first.

try to talk to him in private where theres not that many ppl around once you get to know him better he will probably talk ALOT more
