you will need some way to change the 110 volt ac in the us to the 240 volts your computer requires. most desktop power supplies have a red switch on the back to change it from 110 to 240. you will also need a power cord with the proper plug end.

Yep the pc will run fine... however just make sure that you have adapted it to use the 110v US instead of the 240v UK dont just plug it straight in or you can cause electrical damage to the system

I'm guessing your talking about a laptop.

The answer is yes, though you may need a new mains lead. Their wall sockets are different. Most laptop PSUs are multi-voltage input so you'll only need to change how it plugs into the wall.

As long as it's dual voltage and can handle 110 volts. Plus you'll need a plug adepter.

the power adapter is different but if u get a us power cable u should be ok
