In the 1920 Presidential elections, two vice presidential candidates (Calvin Coolidge and Franklin Roosevelt) turned out to be more suited to be president than the presidential candidates. They were polar opposites. My question: Did they ever meet, in person? If they did, are there any photos anywhere of their meeting(s).

Jason Kidd? John Stockton? These are the greatest point guards in history because they made their teammates better.

y ex boyfriend dumped me a little over a month ago and i've been feeling really depressed since.... i know that i should move on and get over him but it's hard.... i'm really trying my best to move on and i know a few guys who like me and want to date me but i just dont feel that it's fair to them that i still have feelings for my ex.... i kinda like this one guy who i think might like me as well but it just doesn't feel rite and sometimes i get a little sad.... can i be with another guy if i still have feelings for someone? i now it's not fair to him but my frens are telling me to give him a try.... just yesterday, i went on a day trip with my coursemates and my ex was there as well... we are still frens though sometimes it can be a little awkward.... and after the trip my fren told me that a girl taking the same course as him held his hand.... it broke my heart again at that point and even though i know that there is nothing going on between them (she has a bf) it hurts....

It usually happens with me. Iam not scared of water but if I see a tooooo big pool, I feel like dieng. Its from my birth. But I haven't scene real sea from long and I still get such dreams in which water is waiting for me or I am saved from drowning.

I have a niece that is 16 and she is constantly getting into trouble. The thing with her is, she is whatever the situation is at the time. Another thing with her is, if people aren't focused on her, she starts in with her drama. Most of the time it's trouble she starts, so focus will be back on her. Not long ago she done something (I won't go into that) that hurt my feelings. Well, she e-mailed me the other day and asked for forgiveness. She also said that she has turned her problems over to God. Now, the thing is, I don't know whether I can believe that or not. If she has turned her problems over to God, then God Bless her. You also need to know is she's done this before when attention wasn't being focused on her. She lies just about all the time, so it's a little hard to believe her now.
What can I do to help her or to find out if she's sincere? It's really bad when you don't know if you can believe a word that comes out of her mouth. Please give me some advice.

Now, before some moron says something stupid.

Think about this. Wages for both the public and private sector are the largest single factor. Most of business and government budgets are spent paying wages to employees.

Now. The government taxes business and employees a percentage of their income to run government, with their main expense being its' workers. In return, their wokers (public servants) pay a percentage of their income back to the government !!!

Now think about it. Say for example, I pay $1000 in tax over X period. That is enough (roughly) for one public servants wage for the week. Then, they have deducted let's say $350 in tax.

Now I know that a percentge of the tax they pay can be claimed back, but what happens to the rest?

I am sure that if you approached the public servants and said "hey, what if we now pay you a net wage of say $800 for the week and we'll call it even", they'd say OK.

Business would pay less tax, so would private sector employees.
