what do you think of the name smith jones? (jones is the middle name) just thought it was funny because its like the 2 most popular american last names. and i think it would make a cool name for a boy. what do you think?

I see what your're thinking. If you like the sound of those names what about Jonas Smith or Jonas Smithson? There are a lot of other super popular surnames that go together a little better. You could do something like Jackson Kennedy, Emerson Smith, Tyler Johnson, Thomas Taylor. I'm just saying that if you are going to use the idea of two surnames to make a name then you might want to choose some that are more commonly used as given names. To be honest I like the idea but I just don't think the names that you chose work well. Good luck.

I think that this child will probably grow up to be someone significant with that name. I bet Leonardo Decaprio was teased a bit!!! So often when people are in the lime light, they have very unusual names.

Huh - well, I kinda like it. I mean, Smith is a nice name... but I worry he'd get teased because that name... I mean, people think of it as THE common name, and they sometimes make jokes about it when it's just a last name.
But, I think it could work.
Jones makes me think of jonesing for drug hit, though....
