My boyfriend and I have been dating for a year, and we completely love eachother...religion is not an issue in our relationship, we accept eachothers beliefs. Problem is...his parents. His parents have never said anything to my face but I can just tell they have a huge problem with me; they even told my boyfriend that they hope he won't be getting serious with me due to the fact that i'm not Jewish. I want his parents to like me and accept me, but i don't think they ever will.

I posted a question on here last week but really didn't get too many responses - so I'll try to be a little more specific this time. My family and I are looking to relocate from NJ to somewhere greener, somewhere warmer. We are looking at NC, SC, GA and FL. I found a piece of property (actually, there are hundreds of lots avail) in a place called Compass Lake, FL in Alford - which is in Jackson County Florida. I no NOTHING about this area - schools - people - towns - shopping... nothing. I'm concerned that its out in the middle of nowhere with no good schools, no shopping (or have to travel to shopping) and there is no way for me to learn except for, maybe, some people like YOU who have been here or know of this area. Any input would be great! I should note - the property here is WAY WAY WAY cheaper than almost anywhere else I have found... and I'm thinking there must be a reason for this.

Really , I have no need to justify what I believe to myself. I am very happy with my believes and they lead me through a good path in life. Just because I don't live by your unbelievable Christian ways does not mean I live an immoral life. A lot of you are always making this assumption. Be free, open your minds.

there's this guy at my school and we're just in the flirting stages, but he says he loves (very strong word) me and he calls me sexy and beautiful on mxit... yeah we mxit ok! we don't really talk in "real life", but he's in my Sunday-school and we see each other there.
everytime he says he loves me, i just send a smiley back because i don't know what to do!!

Then why do people pray? In several studies, prayer has been shown not to work. In fact those who KNEW they were being prayed for, did WORSE after surgery.

Why do religious people hold onto these beliefs when they are shown over and over to be false?

Why do religious people continue to believe the bible is the word of god when it has been shown that a majority of the bible is falsified and made up? (Read Misquoting Jesus)

Over the last two thousand years, Christianity has gone from being real and tangible to obscure, internalized and translucent. What's next for religion? How can you base your whole life's belief system on something so obscure?

There are many on here who equate wealth and money with genetic superiority. I can think of no one in the Bush family who has invented anything great or done anything good for society.
Their wealth started with his grandfather cutting deals with the
nazis during world war 2 and making interest off of the backs of the working class. So is George Bush really genetically superior?

I have gone to a couple of chiropractors who both are into body building and both prescribed me natural supplements to take the place of my prescription medicines, such as Zoloft & Vytorin for cholesterol. In place of the Zoloft they said St. John's Wart and instead of the Vytorin it was some kind of fruit pectin something. They said that the pharmaceutical companies take the natural herbs and strip them down to make the prescription medicines. Is this true???

My family is very healthy but every time we go out to dinner for a special occasion everywhere we go doesn't seem to have healthy choices of food. My dad is on a diet, but when we go out he doesn't care about what he orders even though he could choose a substitute, he just orders it how it comes.

I just asked about breasts that droops. Is it possible that reason could be because someone has large breasts so heavy, right? If that person was to lose some weight, would there be any difference? I know the breasts would become smaller. But would it still droop a bit?

I live in Kentucky and my boyfriend works as a grounds keeper for an apartment complex. He worked there for about a year and was offered an apartment for free, $525 is want they rent for. Later he was told by his boss that the owners do not give raises and sometimes she "mentions" how lucky he is that he gets that apartment for free. He makes $10 an hour and is required to clean up trash on the weekends, water any plants that may be new, and correct anything someone moving out may have done to the property or dumpsters as well. He is not allowed to clock in for this time, again b/c of the apartment. Is it just me or is he underpaid? He's been there for 3 years and hasn't gotten a raise. I understand the apartment is a big thing and something to be grateful for, but I make just under that and I sit at a desk and work for a general contractor. How do I find out if he has any official "rights" to get a raise? Isn't there a standard of living increase or something?
