It's 280 miles, so figure about 4.25 hours or thereabouts, depending on traffic.

I would guess about 4 and a half hours. I made the drive once in a little under four, but traffic was perfect, a lot also depends on what part of Atlanta you're trying to get to.

That ride is 280 miles. With a stop or 2 you are looking at close to 5 hours. If you limit your stops you can do it in 4 and a half. The fastest I have managed to do it is 4hr. 20 min. Try not to travel in rush hour. This would make it much longer.

Not too sure, but you can map quest it.
From Charlotte, NC to Hilton Head it took me 4hrs on the nose, going 5-9 miles over the speed limit.

Though hubby doesn't believe that, he thinks I did 20 over.

I met him down there while he was working on a project and I took his brand new Hemi 1500 truck. :-)
