does anyone else feel uncomfortable burping your child on their bare back? I feel as if I am hitting her rather than burping her. I will either put a recieving blanket around her back and then burp, or i will seriously put clothes on her just to burp her (we live in Arizona, it is very hot so she is often in only a diaper when inside...). Am I the only crazy one?

I am 16 and i love to write. But i want to know if i could possibly get a book published at this age. And is there a way to check if the idea for my book has already been taken? Also will i be taken seriously? I don't write for little kids or young adults. My writing is more mature and more for people who are older. My ideas mostly deal with problems kids don't have, such as death, violence, and war. And lastly, if it is published, how do i get people to read it?

you are on board a ship. I was looking at graduate programs at various schools, and I noticed that there is something of a more specialized engineering degree. Some call it a Professional Engineering degree. Nonetheless, I think it scopes to be between a Masters or a Doctorate, but why do they exist and when should one pursue it rather than a Masters or Doctorate?

Is there a special diet for my dog with this complaint she has jaundis she seems to be licking her bed clothes non stop.
also seems to drink alot of water. we are afraid we might loose her.would she be in pain ? if so we have pain killer Tablets prescriped by the Vet.sometimes she eats othertime nothing at all. Is it possible that she can get over this sickness or do you think it is Terminal.what is your opinion .

We live in a hot/tropical place (puerto rico) and i'm assuming my dog sweats a lot. Since the start of the summer he has been getting numerous ticks. Ticks aren't common for our dog as he only has had infestations like these twice. First time we got it controlled via lots of baths (our dog hates baths! and he's really hard to get to cooperate when bathing) , fumigating our yard and picking them off one by one. But this time we're considering buying something like Frontline for example. Does sweat remove these products? While were at it, is there a pill treatment for tick prevention / removal that i could talk to my vet about? Thanks!

I'm a young single mom so this house will be for my 6 year old son and I. It was a bank owned property then flipped.

I showed the house to my parents and they loved it so i placed an offer and had it inspected thinking I was getting a great deal.

The inspection came back with a pretty good list of things to fix up. Its a 1957 house so most of the things are pretty common. But it was as if they started flipping it and then got tired and decided to just sell it. They didn't do anything outside, only inside. kitchen was poorly painted as if they were in a hurry. It has new bathrooms, but the toilets and sinks are loose & not put in properly. Cosmetically it looks great and the issues are not too major but they add up and take up all my money that I have saved to furnish the home.

We found a couple suspicious things during the inspection. They are little things but now I'm really scared about buying this house wondering what else they are covering up. Is this a good idea?
