1] put shelf dividers on closet shelf, and store hats, gloves/t shirts/sweaters
2] buy milk crates to put sport equipment, back pack, etc. Store in bottom of closet.
3] buy underbed storage tubs for magazines, CDs, DVDs; or clothing; or extra bedding
4] organize desk - file papers or research you may use again in file drawer, with new notebook paper, graph paper, extra project folders, in front. Store extra pens, pencils; stapler, tape, and post-its in desk. Line up books by subject - text -workbook, if any - notebook or folder. When you finish an assignment, put it in front of that subjects notebook.

you should defenitly get some shelves or boxes to hold some of your junk also go through your closet to se if there is some clothes you don't want, then have a garage sale, if you keep doing this every few weeks you'll keep your room clean

Keep dishes and food out of your room.
organize your desk, books, papers to be in one area, and logically organized.
Vaccuum and dust, and don't forget to wash the windows.
