What exactly is wrong with the practice of polygamy? or polyandry? i mean... personally i don't think it would lend itself to a stable relationship, but if three people (or more) can make it work, why not let them try? what's the big deal?

i realize that religion plays a large part in this debate, which is why this is in this section.

I just got a new kitten last night. She dranked water & ate a little before going to sleep. In the middle of the night, I woke up to hear her "gagging" but nothing came out. So far today almost 20 hours since I've had her, she won't eat (the same food she have been eating prior) or drink water. She would smell it but not eat it. Also, she keep having the "gagging" about every hour or so. I know when she will start gagging as she will meow a couple of times & then the gagging will start right after. It will go on for about 10 seconds & then she will stop, but nothing comes out. Then she goes back to being normal. Does anyone know whats wrong? The pet store which I got it from (I got her for free so maybe something were wrong w/ the kittens?) said the kittens had just gotten their first shots, flea bath and deworming. Will that affect her behavior?

Also, I have an older cat, she gags but she usually throws up food or hairballs but I am not familiar with kittens! Any help will be great

I have about 20 Liatris spicata planted along a fence in a rock garden. many7 or 8 years ago, when my father owned the home, he dumped rock salt in the rock area because he was tired of all the weeds. i had forgotten all about that and planted them there anyways. this is the third year since they've been in and are doing great, but the weeds are starting to get nasty again. dad says i should salt them, i don't wanna hurt them. any advice?

I had a veinogram procedure on my left leg .It is swollen in two parts of my left leg.My lower calf and upper calf.My right leg is normal and no swelling has occurred.I was in an accident when I was younger but my left leg was not that effected from the accident.But from the veinogram, now it just is very noticable, and I feel uncomfortable wearings shorts and dresses sometimes.I went to a doctor at the NYC Hospital and I am very unhappy with his services.I just would like to know I should try to get plastic surgery on my leg or if you know of another procedure?
I am very young and healthy woman.I am only 18 years old.

Cat Hating Husband

A man hated his wife's cat and he decided to get rid of it. He drove 20 blocks away from home and dropped the cat there. The cat was already walking up the driveway when he approached his home.
The next day, he decided to drop the cat 40 blocks away but the same thing happened.

He kept on increasing the number of blocks but the cat kept on coming home before him. At last he decided to drive a few miles away, turn right, then left, past the bridge, then right again and another right and so on until he reached what he thought was a perfect spot and dropped the cat there.

Hours later, the man calls his wife at home and asked her, "Jen is the cat there?" "Yes, why do you ask?" answered the wife. Frustrated
