We've got a sign in the yards, and now an ad in the paper. We've had a few calls, but no one has come to look at it. We need to sell before the end of summer. We are 'asking' a certain price so we ARE allowing people to try to work us down in case we run out of time (it is a fair price; what the place is worth).
Anyways, the ad should begin running in the paper today. What can I do to this place to make it look more spatious and inviting? My BF is a pack rat; we've thrown away gobs and gobs of stuff, but still have a lot of things that should be in storage (we can't afford that). We've painted the back bedroom, and plan on painting the other 2 bedrooms, one of the bath rooms, and the laundry room. I've taken most of the pictures off of the walls to make the room look bigger (but now there's 2 big boxes taking up space in the back bedroom!).
Anyone have any tips or links for how to make the place look bigger and better?

I bought a small keychain laser at the dollar store. With the purpose of putting it to these welding googles (I play in an industrial band). I have seen it before and it looks cool having it comming out an eye into the fog (from a fog machine)
Ok, so my problem was, I took it apart, the laser mechanism from the small cilinder, exposing what seems to be a circuit. Now I add the batteries but it won't work, I am not sure if the batteries died (they were already low the day I took it apart), or more important, is the little enclosing cylinder neccessary for the laser to work?
(Once I dispossed of the cylinder, everything else was on one piece, nothing missing.)
Another question, do you know if there is a risk of radiation direct to my eye, even tho the laser would not be directed towards it, but would be right on front of.?

I told my hubby that a few days ago and nothing has changed. NOTHING. We get along really good, no fighting, screaming, yelling. Much like if you had a really nice roomate. I don't dislike him, but I don't feel I love him either. I would just like to retire after our 25th wedding anniversary this year. I told him all of this and guess what?! Nothing. I don't know what else to do.

I've tried hot soapy water, scraping it and scouring it and it won't budge. As it was underneath the rug it has gathered dirt etc through the years and I desperately need to get rid of it. Any tips for removing it would be most greatful.

I have been dating a guy for about 6 months. He will tell me that he loves me sometimes. But a few days ago, he asked if I was "in love" with him and I said maybe (I was caught off guard). I asked him if he was "in love" with me and he said no. He said he wasn't sure if he ever has been and whether or not he could be (in love with anyone).
When I brought this up a few days later, he said he thought I was rushing things and that it sounds like I had been thikning about the future. He said he cares about me and likes spending time with me and getting to know me. And then wanted to know if I was in love with him.
The more I thought about what he said the more it bothers me.
Can anyone explain this behavior and what they think the difference between being "in love" and loving someone?
And what they would do in this situation?

I have a tight frenum so I called the urology department and spoke to a nurse...and made an appt. I've made a few in the last month but I'm scared so I didnt go. The nurse said there's been patients in for tight frenums of the penis and needed surgery to REMOVE it. And my regular doctor, she said the same thing. I'm just really scared... any advice??

-so we have been ttc for a few month now and this month is diffrent. i am always on time with my period and i am now 5 days late, with no spotting or any sign of a period. i have a light annoyance in my lower abdomen but nothing like cramps,it just like my body wants me to know something is going on (is this normal). i am also extremly tired, but when i lay down it is very hard to get comfortable. i think i might be prego but i dont want to get my hopes up...what do you think?

We've been together for 6 years and we are 22 years old. I love her to death. I can't imagine myself without her. Next week is our anniversary. She love me too.
