Definitely! If she can get off her sentence just like that, so can any one of us with the same violation? What a joke.

DUH! I was stunned when she actually turned herself in and stayed 1 night let alone 3 full days. I thought she would never see the inside of a cell except by pictures. This is the biggest crock of sh*t ever! She should have been put in the jail infirmary or taken to an outside hospital and cuffed to the bed with officers outside her room just like any other person. If she is so "ill" and needed to leave, she shouldn't be at home. She should be in a mental or medical facility if it's that bad. The system is totally f--ked. Someone's palms got heavily greased for this stunt! There needs to be a full investigation into who offered and took the bribe and got this snowball from hell rolling.

No question that she is receiving special treatment. Sad, sad, sad. Didn't she just give a statement three days ago declaring that she was "ready to face her consequences and pay for her crimes...yada, yada, yada?" Way to stick with that!
Incidentally, if someone is too sick to complete a measly 23 day prison sentence (in a private cell) are they not then, too sick to say - go out partying and attend red carpet events?
I wonder how long into her 40 day at-home sentence we will be seeing her at some trendy hollywood club?
Anyone want to start a pool? I say 3 days.

YES - she's definitely getting off easy.
if it were anyone else they would have let her starve in jail - but the jail cant afford a lawsuit from Paris' family or to lose the money of their connections

This is one issue that I think all races, political parties, criminals, law abiding citizens, and nationalities agree on.
This is a total mockery of the justice system and the treatment is based on monetary stature. It is bad for the entire world.

She's not getting special treatment because she's being released from jail. She's being released from jail because she's getting special treatment. And it's WRONG!

i think it is TOTALLY wrong that she was released early. Her sentence had already been reduced to 23 days, and she only had to serve three days (in a private cell) before being released to "serve the balance of her time at her home". WTF!!??!! What kind of punishment is that, to be stuck inyour dad's mansion for two weeks?
And really, what kind of message are we sending when things like this happen? "go ahead kids, do whatever you want, as long as you're famous, you'll be okay and can avoid following the rules" - is this what we want kids today to think, that daddy's $$ can cure all?
whew! thanks for letting me get that off my chest!
