First off, I will be honest. I have been neglecting my oscar slightly recently. I feed him maybe once a week, although, This has been the case for years, and he has done fine. I have been slacking in the water changeouts. About a week ago, "moldy/foamish" looking stuff began to form around decayed food in the corner. I thought nothing of it, and prepared to change out the water the next day. The next day I was unable to change it due to an emergency work call , all day yesterday, the fisgh was laying on his side, near dead, with a white fungus/mold all over him, and his fins appeard to be "rotting" away. We did a 10 gallow change out(out of 30 gallons) last night, and another 10 gallon last night, in hopes it would help, and as of now, there is still minimal signs of life among the fish.

I had two teeth pulled over two weeks ago. One was a wisdom tooth and one was a molar. They were right next to eachother.

So here is my problem, I still have an open socket in my gum that is about an inch long (it looks like the surgeon made one long cut to take both teeth out). It doesn't look like it is healing at all!!!

It doesn't hurt at all, it is just annoying as all get out since I still have to get up constantly and clean it out.

So, my question is, how long does it take for the sockets to close up if you don't get stitches? Should I be worried at all?

Why is it that we seem doomed to forever repeat the mistakes of the past in a cyclical fashion?
With the hideous wars and genocides of the 20th century behind us, and images such as the Napalm girl or Hiroshima forever burned into our minds, I am astonished that the leaders of the world continue their war-mongering.

i dont know why this is but my whole life and even now, i have not been able to be be with just one guy. like right now i am married and love my husband but i cannot stop thinking of being with other guys than him. and it was that way even before marriage even with my ex boyfriend i really loved him as well and was happy with him but i had thoughts of cheating on him to, and had a hard time commiting to just one man. why is this i hate this lifestyle. i dont cheat on them but often think about it. i always wish i was with some other men than the ones im with, but the ones im with and was with were good to me so whats the problem. i feel insecure please tell me why i feel the need to go from man to man and have a hard time settling down. i also have a 2 year old daughter with my husband. but i still feel im longing for something else . whats wrong with me please help me

What I want to know is will I have to have my leach bed replaced? And if I do how will I go about doing that and how long does the leach bed have to be? Oh and by the way I just had my septic tank pumped, its a 500 or 750 gal. tank! How long will it take to start seeping back up through the ground?

I'm not overweight or obese, actually barely in the "normal" zone for BMI so I don't need to worry about getting rid of fat yet but what if I want to lose weight from muscle? If i excersise, it may burn calories but I'll keep building muscle and put on more weight from the muscle. How do I lose the muscle weight without getting fat from not excersising? Is there a way to excersise without gaining muscle?

I have 2 , they are young...will fit in the palm of your hand. As far as I know, one is male...not sure about the other. They seem to get along fine together. They used to be out in the open quite a bit. But now, they seem to stay in their hiding places most of the time. One is fairly calm, but the other still runs away if you walk into the room. I've tried feeding them some live food...meal worms, and they have also eaten moths before. Any suggestions about them...how to get them to calm down. I try to let them see me feed them, but they always seem to run and hide. Tell me about any experience/suggestions anyone has with these.

So, my son, (17) is staying with his father for the summer. His father tells me that when our son forgets to sign out when he is on his email site and My Space his father reads everything. His father says that he knows that our son is doing things for which he's liable to get into trouble some day. His father asked that I not confront my son about this.
I've always given my son reason to expect privacy, whether he leaves his journal open on the coffee table, or if he forgets to sign out on his email account. We talk a lot and I've always felt that I know him pretty well.
I don't want to be disrespectful to his father, but I don't like the idea that he is invading my son's privacy. If our son is involved in heavy stuff, he needs to be confronted, but his father said that he won't confront him either. Instead, he just plans to keep reading my son's personal correspondance.
Was I wrong to trust my son? His father says I was foolish to believe him.
