YES it is. It doesn't bother me if i'm not chosen.. it bothers me that the question is just sitting there.

I hate that, but also I feel bad because I posted a question and didn't come on the computer for a few days and I didn't get to pick a best answer because I was to late. I felt terrible because it was a good question and I got some wonderful answers. sometimes things come up but sometimes people do it just because. What makes me mad is when the unresolved question is from a top contribute or someone who is like at level 7 or something

Yeah, it grates my onion. I vote for best answers in the unresolved ones and I always choose a best answer when I ask a question.Do tell us about the 200 unresolved...WHO

I only put it to vote when I am out of town when time ends or if all the answers are stupid. But I prefer people choosing them for these reasons:
- The asker gets three points
- I get a rating to see how good my answer was
- I get comments to tell me how the asker feels about my answer.

Not really, but I think it would be nice if we all chose best answer. I had only 2 or 3 questions that I didn't choose best answer to because it was hard to choose one. One question I didn't choose best answer for was because I didn't know what the heck I was suppose to do when I first started this.

That doesn't bother me half so much as when crappy answers get chosen as 'best', either by askers or by voters.

In fact, I prefer voting for best answer to having askers choose. I'd kind of like to see a feature wherein askers could choose their favorite and voters could select theirs.

I think it's only right to try to pick a best answer if people are taking the time to answer your question. Some don't like the answers they got and won't pick. Nobody said you would always like the answers. Yes, it bothers me.

Sometimes. But then they lose the chance to get points by not picking and everyone else picks up the points by voting.

If I asked a question and I thought there was one answer that helped more than others, I would rather pick the best answer myself than leave it up to others to vote.

Sometimes there ISN'T a best answer. But surely not on 200 questions. I think that's extreme.

Yes, because when I answer a question I picked it because it was interesting or fun or because I could add a little knowledge or insight into the answer. I enjoy the feedback the person gives when they choose a best answer....

Not at all, some people may forget or not even know about choosing a best answer. Either way, it's all about getting your question answered isn't it?
