Because I've heard tat the overall temperature for the Earth has been going down for the last 3 years.

Yes it is. Have you ever watch the movie Al Gore put out? I think that Global Warming is happening as fast as they say it is. Look at the signs we are getting right now. Oceans are rising and ice caps are melting. We are experiencing heat waves and warmer winters. The animal migration and birth times are becoming messed up. I think everyone in the world is just scared to except what is happening.

if the polar caps are melting, how come a 70 year old woman just walked to the North Pole?
Since the Arctic ice is already floating on the sea, it would have little effect if it melted................
I've lived on a boat in the Caribbean 35 years. Tides aren't any higher.
The panicky UN report says, that in 35-100 years the WORST that will happen is a ONE degree rise in temperature and 2 foot rise in sea level.
But best of all, go read Michael Chricton's "State of Fear" and then think long and hard about "global warming"

read State of Fear by Michael Chrichton...it will tell you truths that nobody wants to admit are true....
1st of all...global warming is going to lead to the next ice age, not to a massive heating......the slight raise intemperature expected over the next 100 years or so will melt the ice, causing ocean temperatures to fluctuate drastically, and throwing earth's climate into a massive state of change, resulting in the next ice age (we are overdue for one, you see???)
however, this is NOT NOT NOT the result of human influence......this is a natural progression in the earth's life cycle (note that there have been at least two other Ice Ages in the past...this natural progression is why!), and there is little humans can do to stop it (or make it worse, for that matter!)

Global Warming is definatly happening faster then expected. I do not know where you heard that but there is scientific proof that the temps are increasing dramatically. Its only a matter of which places will flood first.
Its all facts.
