I have this really painful bruise on my knee, from hitting it on a piano bench the other night. Its not very big, but it hurts a lot. Anyway, i was noticing that if i touch the bruise it hurts, but if i pull the skin up, so that the bruise itself is in a different place, but then poke the same place as the bruise was originally, that doesnt hurt at all.
Can someone explain why that is to me?

Is it just me or does this seem rather strange....sex education is starting earlier and earlier in our education systems and yet, have you noticed some of the questions that are being asked? I mean, granted, they say there is no such thing as a stupid question, but some of these are so hideously ridiculous that I can't even read them without thinking omg or laughing. I don't get it. Either what they're teaching is misleading or these people are way out there?

At our school of 300 i am one of the kids that is looked up to. Everyone respects me because i am a good kid and......um my dad is the principal. I don't fit anywhere in the social clicks in our class and i have very few friends. Plus i am hated because of my dad being principal and because i am athletically better than some of them.With friends i just can't stand the guys in our grade because the a perverts. I would rather hang out with the girls.I am not gay!!! I just wanted to know what someone would do in this situation.

So if deep down you always think you are correct, and you know you can make mistakes (and you don't need a book to tell you you're fallible), how can you justify any static conviction with any strong degree of certainty? You only ever convince yourself of how convinced you are of something. Why not accept something as an *apparent* truth and let go of it if it stops fitting?

Unbelievable!!!! I ordered the Eldora Prelude to the Dream on PPV and had it set to record on my DVR, after 3 and 1/2 hours of watching the race at the end they stop the PPV and put a little message that if I want to see the ending I need to switch the channel!!! Since it was recording by the time I got to that part it was already over!!So I paid $25 for NOTHING!!!!!!


I am so mad I could spit nails!! I called my sattelite provider and the agent (Who was from another country and sounded like a timed robot) repeats over and over again that they only allotted 3 and 1/2 hours for that PPV.......In essesence bend over and take it!!!!


Did anyone else have this problem and Who won the race?

Wouldn't God be existance itself? No being created this existance, it just exists. To say that God is a being has a couple different views. If we were created by a being then we were still created by Existance, because the existance created the beings that created us. A few months ago I bought a white datura or Horn of Plenty, Devil's Horn, or Thornapple. We live in Houston Texas and we have had loads of rain lately. Yesterday it looked dead flowers and leaves the only thing still alive were the spiny seed pods. I ended up digging it up and put it back in it original pot. I dont think it will be comeing back. But with the seed pods still busting and spreading seed I want to know what happened so I don't make the same mistake next year. And does anybody have any tips on the best way to handle these seeds?

Just before, I asked a question about catholics.

Because I used the term "they" I was told that, seeing as I am obviously not a catholic, that I should mind my own business.

Aside from the fact that I was brought up a catholic and come from a catholic family, which I think does make it my business, even if I'm a catholic now, isn't the whole point of Y/A that people ask questions?

Does the guy who told me to mind my own business expect everyone to stick to asking questions about their own faith and that alone?

Or is it just someone who decides to be agressive with everyone he disagrees with?
