My first reaction would be screaming "WHAT THE FCK?"

OMG, I would freak out something fierce!! I've got 13 (depending on how you count them, 3 are separate tattoos, but could be counted as 1). All of them have a story behind them, something that was going on in my life at the time. My ink is my diary basically. I can still tell you the date each one was done, who did it & where...why I chose it, what all was going on with my life, and who all was there. They kind of keep me grounded to my reality if that makes any sense, and without them, some parts of those memories probably wouldn't still exist to me in as much detail. If any of that makes any sense.

I personally only have one tattoo and it is on my neck. It is a star and i would be happy if it was gone now. I didnt realize how something so small and something so innocent could effect me today. My job requires me to cover it and it is a pain to have to band-aid everyday. I would have prefered to have had it somewhere that i could have covered. oh well...

i would be so sad and then i would call my tattoo artist and make an appointment to get another tattoo. and THAT would constitute an 8 hour drive... i am that serious about my ink.

Would all the money I've spent on my custom work be gone too or be sitting next to the bed? LOL, I'd make an appointment to start over again..............

It would probably take me awhile to notice, I have some on my upper thigh (to the side) and some on my back so I don't look at them all too often.

I'd go back to sleep. It's obviously a dream (not very good one at that).

Alternatively, joke with my artist about "disappearing ink", and figure how to redo the work even better.

I probably wouldn't notice it right away, my 2 tats are in place that you don't see unless you know me VERY well. I have a very professional job and it is to appropriate to have them showing.

I'd be pretty pissed off, all that money and pain with nothing beautiful to show for it!
