He cheated on me, verbally abused and emotionally abused me, has nothing to do with our children, but even with all of that I am having a hell of a time moving on. He begged me to take him back last summer but I couldnt be sure he really had changed, then 3 days later he moved in with his current gf, so how badly could he have really wanted to move in, right? I guess it is just hard not knowing if he really changed or if he is just scamming like usual and his time ran out with her where he had to marry her or she would kick him out. Plus, she thinks he doesnt see his kids because I wont let him, so he is off the hook for that. I am just so angry with myself for still hurting over him. We have been divorced for 3 years, seperated for 4, yet knowing he will be marrying someone else is killing me. I was the only on out of everyone he dated that he married,that was supposed to be my thing, to have his name,not someone elses who has been around for less that a year and has no idea about him

we had a problem with algae in our pool when we opened it this year, which led to a cloudy pool when we cleared it up. I was told to put something in it that drops all the particles to the bottom so you can vacuum them, but everytime I try and vacuum it just stirs everything up! Our pool has not gotten any cleaner and the vacuuming just doesn't seem to help. any tips or ideas?

I am a 13 year old girl. I live in the last house on a dirt road. The rode is less than a mile long. The people living on it are all old and stay indoors. My family knows most of the people.

Our neighborhood is quiet because it is composed mostly of elderly people. There aren't any kids my age in my neighborhood.

I really want to buy a bike because I desperately need something to do over the summer, but my parents refuse to let me bike alone. They tell me that I have to go with my YOUNGER siblings for protection. My younger siblings never want to go anywhere, and they aren't serious bikers.

And if something WERE to happen, how would they protect ME?

I have to WALK home from school after I am dropped off at the beginning of the dirt road from my bus stop.

This makes no sense to me! Wouldn't it be safer for me to be on a bike than to walk? (And it isn't because they are afraid I will fall off the bike. They don't want me ALONE biking.)

Ugh. I don't know what's wrong with me. Every morning, I wake up and say to myself that I'm going to work hard when I get in the office, but every day I spend all day e-mailing or on here. I had a couple of weeks off from depression, and since I've been back I've just lost ALL motivation. I'm only doing the really urgent stuff.

Try as I might, I can't resist opening e-mail and answers, and Big Brother website, and it just all goes downhill from there.

Is this normal? Does anyone else suffer from this?

How do I get out of it? I really like my job and I don't want to lose it....

No sarcasm please, like 'get off answers'.... I know that, but I'd really appreciate advice to movitvate myself so I can put it into practice first thing tomorrow.

Theists have huge influence over the world that we live in.

They influence law makers.

They try to influence the education of our children.

They exercise tremendous control over communities. Communities that we live in as well.

Would you have us sit idly by and accept that whatever you guys want, we should blindly accept?

We have children to...........and we also care about what sort of world we want them to grow up in.

Okay, so I really like this guy, and the night before we got out of school I kept thinking that that would be the last time I'd see him for 3 months, so I wrote him a pretty lengthy love letter telling him that I wanted him to know that I loved him, but then I really cared about our friendship more, because I knew he would never like me and we were best friends anyways. Well I also told him to call me if he still just wanted to be friends. I acted normal around him all that day, and at the last second I saw him, I slipped the letter into his hand, smiled, and walked away. That was it. I told another friend that I did it, and she was worried because he didnt call so she caled him and he said we were still friends, but he never called. Sometimes when I make the excuse that I'm afraid I'll drop the baby they just go ahead and thrust the baby into my arms anyway, correcting how I hold it. I didn't want to hold it in the first place lol. How do you politely decline to avoid a scenerio like that and avoid offending the new parents?

Why is districting up to the state legislatures and NOT in the hands of a non-political office attached to the Census bureau.

Do Republicans fear that giving everyone equal representation under law will hurt their chances of ever holding a majority ever again?

It's easy to pigeonhole people in general.

Full disclosure and honestly; Sometimes I am envious of those who have a faith in something other than this crappy culture we live in.

But I just can't help but shake my head at the fact that the United States will not even think of electing a President who wouldn't give mad props to the sky fairy.

So is religion a firm foundation, or is it just something that causes more strife than it is worth?

I vote the latter. What say you?
