Answer 1:
Each side is 85 feet. So, the perimeter of the regular pentagon is 5*85 = 425 feet. They cover the perimeter 3 times.

Distance covered = 3*425 = 1275 feet

Answer 2:
Diagonal = 13 units
Longer side = 12 units

When you draw the diagonal of a rectangle, you get two congruent right triangles. The diagonal is always the hypotenuse.

(Shorter side)^2 + 12^2 = 13^2
(Shorter side)^2 + 144 = 169
(Shorter side)^2 = 25
Shorter side = 5 units

Perimeter = 2(Longer side + Shorter side)
= 2(12 + 5)
= 2*17
= 34 units

Answer 3:
The fact that the trapezoid is isoscles means that the non-parallel sides (the left and the right sides) are equal. Meaning we can mark them both as x.

Perimeter = sum of all the sides

x + x + x + 2 + x + 10 = 92
4x + 12 = 92
4x = 80
x = 20 units

Answer 4:
There is no need for height.

Perimeter = sum of all the sides
= 28 + 8 + 15 + 12
= 63 units

Answer 5:
d = 15 in.

Circumference = pi * d
= 15 pi

Taking pi as 3.14 (That's the only way to solve this),

C = (15 * 3.14) inches
Circumference = 47.1 inches

1. since pentagon has 5 sides and they walked these sides thrice so multiply 85ft by15 so ans is 1275ft

2. by pythagorus th 13^2=12^2+side^2
i.e. other side =5
perimeter=2(12+5)=34

3. since trape is isos hence opp non parallel sides are equal
perimeter=x + x + (x+2) + (x+10)
92=x+x+(x+2)+(x+10)
92=4x+12
x=20

4. perimeter=sum of sides=28+8+15+12= 63ft

5. diameter= 2 * radius
r=15/2
circumference = 2 * (22/7) * r = 330/7 = 47.1 in

If each side of the triangle is 24 inches long, then the whole wire is 72 inches long. 24 multiplied by 3 - three, because a triangle has three sides - equals 72. A square has four equal sides. So to get the length of one side, you divide 72 by four. 72 / 4 = 18 A side of the square would be 18 inches. Hoped this helped!

Seriously, Son, none of these are difficult. If you can learn how to cut and paste, you can do these problems. Just lifting them from whoever does them for you is not helping your education, at all.

this is ridiculous. do your own homework/test, or at least try and come back if there's a specific concept you don't understand.
