Last night, while I was out of the desk area, my desktop computer suddenly turned off.

I tried plugging it into a wall source where it lit up for a fast moment and then died. What should I do?

Just being curious, but why does religion (in general) in ireland and poland (such as the stable rate of church attendance which is more than 50%, and its strong influence to politics) so strong even though the country is so strong and rich compared to other European countries who are getting richer and richer (like the Scandinavians) but the religious influence, particularly to the people, is very weak (like church attendance is weak and full acceptance of abortion)?

Next week I will be having a graduation party at a buffet with my entire family(mostly) and I was wondering if it is necessary to hand out goody bags? I already decided for thank you cards, I will take a picture with every guest and include it in the card when I mail it out. So, I don't know what to put in the goody bags...maybe a picture of me at my graduation in a little frame? I want some creative but not too expensive ideas. Please give me your input on this. I am a 20 year old college student using Windows XP on a Dell Inspiron 4150 (about 4 years old). I recently had to have my computer repaired due to spyware & viruses that had infested it due to LimeWire and other downloading programs I had previously carelessly used. Now I know to definitely not use LimeWire and stuff and am downloading my music from Ruckus and iTunes. My computer is still running slow after the data recovery so I think I want to have Windows entirely reloaded on it, but not at this moment (working at Yellowstone for the summer & nowhere to have that done). The guy who recovered my computer installed Avast! Antivirus & you can use it free for one year. Is that a good program? Will is protect me from spyware also??? What are the best programs for anti-virus & spyware protection for me, keeping in mind that I am a college student with minimal income? What are your suggestions for protection and for what reasons? Its a 1991 gmc jimmy 4door, 4wheel drive, 4.3L, v6, and it dosnt shift into park anymore but everything else works, everything is off, when it says its in park its in reverse and when it says reverse its nuturel and so on, please help thank you.

There is a four hour rule for leaving food out, unrefrigerated?

I have taken safe food handling courses several times and at no time was I taught there is a four hour rule that food can sit without a heat source. Of iced down if serving cold.
Someone tell me where that comes from please?

Two women were playing golf. One teed off and watched in horror as her ball headed directly toward a foursome of men playing the next hole. The ball hit one of the men. He immediately clasped his hands together at his groin, fell to the ground and proceeded to roll around in agony.
The woman rushed down to the man, and immediately began to apologize.
"Please allow me to help. I'm a physical therapist and I know I could relieve your pain if you'd allow me," she told him.
"Oh, no, I'll be all right. I'll be fine in a few minutes," the man replied.
He was in obvious agony, lying in the foetal position, still clasping his hands together at his groin. At her persistence, however, he finally allowed her to help.
She gently took his hands away and laid them to the side, loosened his pants and put her hands inside. She administered tender and artful massage for several long moments and asked, "How does that feel"?
He replied, "It feels great, but my thumb still hurts like hell!"

You have no money ever, seriously never. You're a completionist and if you could afford it or if cds and dvds were more reasonably priced you'd buy loads of them, you've got extremely diverse taste and to collect all the music and film you love will cost more money than you're ever gonna have. So is it a bad thing morally to download it for free? Also over about 10 years you've probably spent more than ten grand on movies and music.

I am considering a career in as a sonographer. It seems like an exciting career and it would also give me a great sense of accomplishment. I was going to school to become a nurse, but the idea of being a sonographer first seems like a better goal for me right now.
Is there anyone out there who has that career or is considering it like me? How long does it take to get your license? ( I have about 2 years of college completed already) How much do they usually make?

a ladder 6.5 m long leans against a vertical wall. if the foot of the ladder slips outward at a rate of 1m/s , find the rate at which the top of the ladder is descending at the instant the foot is 2.5 m from the wall.
