I am writing a story and I need ideas for a really, really ugly dog.

check out the purebred chinese crested dog.. they are UGLY!! In fact one in AZ won the ugliest dog of 06 contest!!

Ugly is in the eye of the beholder, but I think Irish wolfhounds are pretty ugly!

pugs, bulldogs, chows, boston terriers, miniature pinschers and sharpei's... those are actually cute dogs to me, but many think of them as ugly.
However, the avatar/dog person that answered first (steve), would be the ugliest dog of them all and in the whole animal kingdom, including dog cr@p!

this is kind of an opinion, but i think sharpeis, most pugs, and bassett hounds are pretty ugly
