the differential equation is:
m*x" - c*x' = ps*^(-bt)
where m*x" is acceleration which is d^2x/dt^2 and
-c*x' is velocity which is dx/dt and
ps*^(-bt) = p*s*e^(-bt) which =m*a = net force

Making the following assumptions:
Pressure outside can = p, mass of can = m, Area of can ends (each) = A, area of valve hole = s

I seemed to grasp most of it, but there are some lines I'm not sure what the poet meant. For example : All is black, crispy.
What was the poet trying to describe?

Here's the poem. Please let me know what you think of it. Thanks.

Cry of the Wolf {Free Verse}

I hear the cries,
they make me shiver
I smell the bodies burning
the night's aglow
a sickly yellow
shadows writhing
men are dying
I hear the cries,
they make me shiver
Love is lost
my life's the cost
I hear the cries,
they make me shiver.
All is black, crispy
a fetid corpse's breath
I hear the cry of the wolf
his name is
man.

I got the starter replaced in december so I dont know, but...
I drove the car to lunch, got outside and it would not start.

When putting in the key, I get plenty of juice. the lights come on good and bright (and do not dim when I turn the key). the power windows are getting enough juice.

We attempted to jump it, and it did not work.

When I turn the key I get a single "click" and nothing. The car does not attempt to turn over. Not even part of the way. Just one solid "click" and that is it.

The dashboard lights, as normal, turn off when I attempt to turn the key (as does radio etc) but the lights do not dim.

it is a 1993 lincoln town car signature series.

Could this yet again be the starter? What else could it be?

When anyone brings up the contradictions of a loving god and the existence of hell, we get a load of contradictory ******** about how people make their choice and how god is loving, blah blah blah. Is this similar to how abused kids defend their abusive parent?

I have a 17,000 gallon pool that stays around 76 degrees during the summer. I want to be able to circulate enough heated water (BTU's) to maintain an 86 degree temp. thru the summer months. This question has nothing to do with how I plan on heating the pool (black plastic solar panels btw) but how may BTU's I will need to raise 17,000 gallons from 76 to 86 degrees and maintain that 86 degree water temp 24 hours a day. The solar panels that I'm looking at produce 80,000 BTU's in a 24 hour period. I don't know how difficult this problem will be to solve but I'm sure some engineer is out there that can. Thanks.

I am wondering if any other moms don't mind if their baby wakes up to eat, have a change, or snuggle in the night... I actually look forward to him waking, I like to see him scoot towards me and start pulling on my shirt, or waking up so he can snuggle in for a cuddle. But the main question everyone asks me when the first see my baby is "Is he sleeping through yet??" as if it is a very important thing. (he's 6 months, breastfed, and co-sleeps)

Is it important for the baby's development, or is it more based on the parents getting a night of uninterrupted sleep?

Do you mind if your child doesn't sleep through?

And, how long exactly is it considered sleeping through? Four hours? Six? Shorter, longer? Just curious, thanks for looking.

I have peripheral neuropathy, the cause is unknown but I believe it has to do with previous back sergeries, anyways last year after having the flu my symptoms became full blown (weakness, sharp pains, tingling, numbness, yada yada yada) about four months ago the symptoms cleared up I started jogging again and feeling great, my kids came home with the flu last week and I felt asthough I was coming down with it too, but instead I ended up with all the full blown neuropathy symtoms. is this common?

My parents gave a gift of stock in 1995. In 2005 I sold it and closed the brokerage account. I was under the impression that the cost basis was the market value at the time of the gift. The stock depreciated slightly from 1995 to 2005 so I didn't report capital gains to the IRS. I got a notice from IRS the other day saying that I owe taxes based on the cost basis that the brokerage reported. (based on the original purchase by my parents in 1989)

These pies are about 1 1/2 times bigger than a standard meat pie you would get at a grocery store. I have 3 Chicken pies that come from KFC which were cooked and brought home hot. We couldn't eat them that day so we put them in the fridge. Since they've been previously cooked the crust is already brown. I can't microwave them because they are in an aluminum pie tin and the crust is only across the top of the pie only. If I were to put them in the oven at 350 degrees for 20 to 40 minutes I would anticipate the crust to go unacceptably dark. Am I right on this? Now what if I heat them at 250 degrees for a longer period? How would that affect it? Should I set them out to go to room temperature first and then heat it? What suggestions do you have?
