Man for some reason loves to be punished and to punish others. It's very evil. But God Himself is not evil. Most religions have God all wrong because men like to control and dominate everything and everyone, which is not God's nature. Being totally free is the #1 scariest thing for all governments in the world, and yet that is exactly what Jesus did for people, released them from all rules and laws minus one, to love each other in action and deed. Do yourself a favor and break from religion and tradition, focus only on love for the people you come across in life, then you will meet God.

It is called consequences for your actions. If you touch a hot stove you get burnt and if you disobey God you get punished. It's not like He didn't tell them what He expected and just punished for fun. He made it VERY clear and they choose direct disobedience.
This is a concept that is not at all popular in today's views. Just look at our prisons...if those inmates' parents had taught them about behavior AND consequences, I think we wouldn't have near the prison population that we do today.

You're missing what's happening in between. He loves all the time, but he punishes disobedience. He doesn't just turn on them, they disobey and he punishes them the way he said he would.

Hahaha, thats awesome. I asked this before why everyone says god loves everybody no matter what, yet he states to kill people also. He killed all those people with noahs ark. Thats not very nice.
